NEW YORK -- For once, Britney Spears is grateful for the paparazzi.

Spears told Allure magazine that seeing photos of herself made her realize that she "needed to lose weight."

She told the magazine that she let herself go once she got married and that her tummy is "the honeymoon after-effect" because she's been "lounging around and eating and laying out" with her husband, Kevin Federline.

Spears has also learned a lesson: In marriage, there is no room service.

Spears said she and Federline were like kids, ordering room service and going out a lot, and then suddenly, they had Federline's kids to deal with. She added that things are going smoother now.

And for all this talk about Spears wanting a child of her own, she may have changed her mind on that, too.

"I'm not pregnant," Spears told the magazine. "It's not something I've been striving for."

Respected US gossip columnist Norm Clarke reported: “Britney Spears . . . not a girl, soon to be a mommy. She’s pregnant. Look for the announcement any day now.”

Speculation over Britney’s apparently bulging tum has heightened with pictures of her having piled on the pounds.

The singer is also reported to have quit smoking as a result of her happy news — even though hubby No2 Kevin Federline is still puffing away.

A source said: “All the signs are there. Britney has given up.

Britney Spears has done it again. For the second time this year, she got married without a prenuptial agreement. The first time it cost her a few thousand dollars to get out of her one day marriage. Next time, the costs won’t be nearly so minimal.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline entered an agreement on September 16, 2004 saying they would participate in a “faux” marriage ceremony on September 18th. The agreement set the real marriage for October 16th.

However, this agreement was not a pre-nup because every contract requires what the law calls “consideration” – something given in exchange for something else. In this case, in exchange for Britney’s hand, Kevin agreed to sign a pre-nup. Kevin and Britney’s agreement states they have no intention of marrying on September 18th or of even getting a marriage license until after September 25th. They also declare to have a pre-nup in place before the actual marriage.

Under California law, a pre-nup must be signed at least seven days before the wedding. Kevin and Britney signed on September 14th, and their attorneys signed on the 17th. The marriage took place on the 18th. So even if it was a pre-nup, the seven-day waiting period doesn’t apply.

In the meantime, Britney has been saying for months that she and Kevin don’t need a pre-nup because they are marrying for love, not money. While this show of faith is sweet, her parents have strongly encouraged her to get a pre-nup. Not a bad idea considering she had to buy her own $40,000 diamond engagement ring.

On September 18th, the announcement came that the couple had actually married.

The press kept waiting for the marriage license to be filed and it appeared on October 8th. Kevin and Britney said they wanted to wait until their pre-nup was completed before filing the license. Oops. If the pre-nup was completed after the marriage, it isn’t a pre-nup after all, is it? And there is no such thing as a post-nup. In the event of a divorce, Britney stands to lose a substantial sum since most of the assets are coming from her.

So, now we’ve established there is no pre-nup. But are they married?

According to the law, a written agreement takes precedence over an oral agreement. Kevin and Britney signed an agreement NOT to get married on September 18th.  But do their verbal “I do’s” on September 18th pre-empt the written contract? One legal authority suggests the validity of the marriage is governed by the state, not the contract. And the state encourages people to get married. Therefore, their vows on the 18th override the “fake marriage” agreement.

Poor Britney. Yet again, she has gotten married without a valid pre-nup. Who knows, maybe she’ll get it right with husband #3.

Britney SpearsBritney Spears is turning the tables on the tabloids.
In a bid to offer another take on her much-documented love life, the pop superstar and hubby Kevin Federline will toplinetopline their own unscripted series on UPNUPN. After fierce competishcompetish from several other outlets, net has snapped up six episodes of the as-yet-untitled skeinskein, which will document the story of the Spears-Federline courtship, engagement and wedding.

UPN is wasting no time putting the series together, planning to premiere the skein before the current season ends next month.

"From the day that Kevin and I met, there have been constant rumors and inaccurate speculation about our lives together," Spears said. "I feel that last year the tabloids ran my life and I am really excited about showing my fans what really happened rather than all the stories, which have been misconstrued by journalists in the past. As I mentioned before, I am now going to be expressing my personal life through art."

UPN Entertainment prexyprexy Dawn Ostroff said the skein will give Spears and Federline the chance to "tell their love story their way."

Indeed, the bulk of the show will consist of video footage shot by Spears and Federline themselves, with UPN adding in some new commentaries and follow-up footage.

The Grammy-winning singer and her new husband will essentially "host" the series, walking viewers through the story of their relationship. "They'll tell viewers, 'This is when we first met' or 'This is when we started dating,' " Ostroff said.

Duo documented their European tour, preparations for their wedding and the wedding day itself. Skein will consist of five half-hour episodes and an hourlong finale focusing on the wedding day.

An outside producer will be brought in to help edit the footage into a series, but Spears and Federline will take exec producer credits on the finished product.

In a bit of corporate cooperation between different parts of the Viacom empire, one of the MTV Music Group Channels -- MTV, VH1VH1 or both -- will rerun the most recent episode of the skein not long after UPN's initial broadcast. MTV or VH1 will also air a five-episode marathonMarathon.

"The competition for the show was pretty heated, and we were able to reach out to MTV Networks and put together a deal," Ostroff said. MTV will foot part of the deal for its second window on the skein, which was packaged by ICM.

Ostroff said Spears "is someone who appeals to (UPN's) audience, the young female demographic that's been following her career and personal story" for the last few years.

While Spears and Federline shot most of the skein themselves, Ostroff said the show will not seem like a video press release.

"I don't think there's anything sugarcoated about this," said Ostroff, who's already seen a significant amount of footage. "It's pretty raw and pretty real. I don't think (viewers) have ever been exposed to people being so honest and open about their lives."

Ostroff said the story of Spears and Federline is so compelling that "even if it were a fictitious story, it would be interesting. The fact that it's about one of the biggest stars out there makes it all the more fascinating."

Federline said the show will speak for itself. "It is a documentation of love," he said.

No premiere date has been locked in, but Ostroff did say the goal is to get the show on sometime during the May sweeps. It's likely some episodes, including the finale, will air after the official May 25 end of the 2004-05 season.

It would be the first child for Britney, while hubby Kevin Federline is already father to two children with his ex, Shar Jackson.

Just before Thanksgiving last year, Spears posted a letter to fans talking about her desires to take a break from music and focus on motherhood. Britney and husband Kevin posed as each other's servants in the shoot for Interview magazine.

But when she found out that the photos wouldn't be used on the mag's front cover she hit the roof, according to reports on contactmusic.com.

During a telephone interview for the accompanying article, Spears allegedly exclaimed: "We're not on the cover! Why am I even on the phone with you right now?" when informed of the bad news.

But Federline is then said to have countered, "I think it's better off that way that it's not on the cover because it's more of an artistic statement."

The 27-year-old dancer has been unemployed for the majority of his whirlwind courtship and one-year marriage to the Toxic singer.

British newspaper The Sun claims Federline has gained employment as a dance instructor as Darrin Henson's dance school in Los Angeles.

PREGNANT pop star Britney Spears has admitted she can't understand her Kabbalah books.

The new issue of In Touch Weekly is helping stick Kevin Federline's Air Jordan covered foot deeper in his mouth by publishing some statements he made to a reporter while he was partying in Vegas recently.


Kevin (or "Federdouche" as many like to call him) doesn't like lawyers in the same way that criminals don't like cops. Most of the time you're running from them and calling them "pigs" because you've done something wrong, but when you need them to save your ass, they're your best friends. It's sorta like having "baby mamas" (a.k.a. Shar and Britney) everywhere. Most of the time, you're running from them and calling them "bitches", but when you need them to pay for your cornrows and fresh set of wife beaters, they're your favorite bitches. If we're lucky, maybe we'll get to point and laugh if Kevin goes to prison and is someone else's "favorite bitch", but that would be too funny, and I might die laughing, and I'm not ready to die just yet.

Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear, well about a month ago, when the Britster's marriage to Kevin Federline was said to be in the dumper. She was said to have sent him packing, at least temporarily, and even taken away the keys to his Ferrari (talk about a way to punish a fella where it really hurts).

Flash forward to now, when, as In Touch Weekly reports, Britney and Kevin have reconciled, at least temporarily, and now the pop princess wants nothing so much as to be prego with another kiddo, courtesy of the manly assist of Mr. Hubby.

The paparazzi sometimes drive Britney Spears out of her mind — but the new mom was actually happy they were around when the car she was riding in broke down in the middle of a busy road.

Spears was cruising along the Pacific Coast Highway near her Malibu home in hubby Kevin Federline's Ferrari, her older brother, Bryan, behind the wheel, when the stunning $200,000 sports car suddenly seized and ground to a halt in the middle of speeding traffic.

That's when the army of photographers that trails the 24-year-old day in and day out rode to her rescue.

The fotogs pulled their vehicles to the shoulder and jumped out to help.

Five of the lensmen, with cameras in hand, got behind the Ferrari and pushed it out of traffic as Spears' brother steered.

But they didn't neglect to snap plenty of photos at the same time, some of which show a pouty Spears, in jeans and a halter top, looking like she'd just as soon junk her hubby's car for good.

After the heroic snappers radioed for assistance, a sheriff's vehicle appeared minutes later to whisk the damsel in distress back home.

It's not the first time Federline's car has been in the news.

It was towed last month from the couple's home, raising speculation that Spears was getting rid of it to punish her hubby after the pair had a fight — a rumor the couple denied.

Two breakdowns in two months. Got to love low volume hand built cars - they're so hit and miss. I lucked out with my TVR, but I had friends who had nothing but trouble.

I'm not defending anyone here, but if every baby that had hurt themselves falling from a high chair was taken into care there'd be very few 'real' parents anywhere.

Exactly. The car incidents are more serious in my mind (parent of 3) than the high chair one. Each of my kids took a tumble at some point as an infant - two from a bed, one from a bathroom counter. You never know when those buggers are going to start rolling/crawling until they do it.

I suspect that, among other things, she's probably abusing drugs or alcohol.

I have heard the theory that she cut it off to prevent it from being tested to see what sort of substances she was ingesting/using during her pregnancies.

That makes sense for, you know, regular fucking people. But not someone as rich as shit as Brittany Spears, whose job prospects will not suffer a bit from any sort of drug use.

Celebrity Magazine Ok! will report on Friday that Britney Spears’ new love interest is a woman.

According to the magazine, Spears has flirted and “experimented” with several female friends, allegedly including her former assistant Shannon Funk.

During a night on the town, an OK! source claims Spears nuzzled up to Funk topless and then the pair ended up in the same bed

The real tears should come from the sad twist of fate that caused her to go through a lesbian phase at this point in her life instead of about 8 years ago.

I don't know. Did you see that pic in the Sun of her almost in tears? While it's true she did alot of this to herself, she is clearly having major issues and is suffering because of it.
