If you cant perform live, no matter the situation, you suck.

As someone pointed out -- sometimes you're not allowed to perform live. That's the problem with the whole issue. Sometimes singers are doing it because they can't sing. Sometimes they're doing it because they're not allowed, for one reason or another (generally to prevent them from speaking off the cuff and causing problems for the network).

Telling the difference is sometimes not obvious.

I was a little bit sympathetic until I read at www.thesuperficial.com that her income is $737,000 A MONTH currently.  I figured she must have blown a good chunk but apparently not or the nugget is a lot bigger than I thought.

Or in some cases they give the artists a small measure of freedom and regret it.

(The producers insisted that the instruments be dubbed but let them sing live. In return for this fucktardery the band took the piss)

http://www.etonline.com/news/2007/09/54080/index.html

ET has several reliable sources that the FBI and LAPD are investigating legitimate leads on a contract hit on KEVIN FEDERLINE's life.

Multiple sources tell ET that the FBI made attempts to contact Federline to inform him of the potential danger.

Sources within the FBI tell ET that this is the bureau's standard operating procedure when someone's life is threatened.

ET has been working this story for the past two months. When contacted, the FBI told us that the bureau cannot confirm or deny an investigation.

Those worthless, faithless peons at Britney's management company have, no doubt reluctantly, had to let her go.

Where the fuck were they when she was deciding to embarrass the shit out of herself on the Video Awards? Hopefully, they dropped her because she wouldn't listen to them tell her she looked like an out-of-shape cow on stage.

He's kind of a sinking ship in his own right.

And yet, by all appearances, he's the smart one.

K-Fed managed to knock Brittany up while she was still cute AND has made a solid payday out of the ordeal.  I can't say I admire the guy's actions but I'll give him credit for it.

If he really is smart he will lay low, raise the kids and live a life of ease and comfort.  What I really expect from him though is that we will see his mugshot for dealing crack sometime in the next 12 months.

He's not going to lay low.  He's going to wind up spreading his seed to yet another hot, young semi-starlette.   The man may be a waste of life, but he's spread his DNA 3 times now.  More than most here can say, so guess what.  He's influenced the future of humanity more than most of us.

YouTube sensation inks development deal

By Josef Adalian
Variety

The "Leave Britney Alone" guy could be getting his own TV show.

Production company 44 Blue has inked a development deal with Chris Crocker, the Internet superstar whose tear-filled defense of Britney Spears has generated nearly 8 million hits on YouTube in just one week.

Plan is to develop a docusoap built around Crocker, a 19-year-old who lives with his grandparents in Tennessee. Even before the Britney clip, Crocker had developed a large Net audience via numerous video performances posted on MySpace.com.

"Chris first got on our radar a year ago," said 44 Blue president/co-founder Rasha Drachkovitch, who said he wants to develop a show that plays to Crocker's strengths.

"It's going to pretty much be the 'Chris Crocker experience,'" he said. "We consider him a rebel character that people will find interesting. He's going to be a TV star."

Since posting "Leave Britney Alone," Crocker has become a darling of the mainstream media, appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and inspiring countless spoofs, including one from actor Seth Green ("Robot Chicken").

Seth Greene did a pretty awesome Chris Crocker parody on The Soup last week.

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

Uh, yeah. I live there. I have all my life. Go 50 miles outside of Atlanta and you'll run into a bunch of people who will treat you like family (as long as you're white), carry enough guns to outfit their family plus a few others, and think we should be fighting fundamentalist Islamic terrorism with...our own type of fundamentalist policy.

Don't get me wrong, the South has some of the coolest people in the world. However, you get outside of the cities and you still run into blatant racism, out of hand obesity and irrational beliefs.

Spears Charged in LA Parking Lot Crash

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Britney Spears was charged Friday with misdemeanor counts of hit and run and driving without a valid license in connection with a parking lot crash in August, prosecutors said. If convicted, the singer could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each count, said Nick Velasquez, spokesman for the city attorney's office.

Messages left with Spears' attorneys were not immediately returned.

The accident occurred on Aug. 6, Velasquez said.

Spears, 25, was captured by paparazzi that day steering her car into another vehicle as she tried to turn into a spot in a Studio City parking lot. After assessing the damage to her own car only, she was shown on paparazzi video walking away.

Three days after the accident, the owner of the other vehicle filed a police report, and investigators later determined that Spears does not have a license, officials said.

"A check of ... records shows that no California license has ever been issued to Ms. Spears," Velasquez said.

Spears was scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 10, but she is not required to appear.

The case adds to the singer's woes, coming days after a court commissioner ordered her to undergo random drug and alcohol testing in her child custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Her management firm recently dropped her, meanwhile, and her performance at this year's MTV Video Music Awards was widely panned.

I hesitate to say this but can she screw her life up any worse? I'm literally stumped trying to think of a way she could further sabotage herself. The only thing I can think of is if she married Lindsey Lohan while they were both stoned out of their minds on Cocaine with Paris Hilton coming to the honeymoon for a 3-some.

Yeah but do it with those cute froo-froo dogs that celebrity chicks have. I might actually enjoy watching Paris Hilton's chihuahua go after a Lhasa Apso in a doggie slap fight.

None of them are quite far enough gone that I wouldn't pay for tickets to that gig.  All the fat geeks can play the "uh-uh, not me, I'd kick their coked-up asses to the curb", but each of us knows what the number one search phrase for google would be if that video came out.  And It wouldn't sabotage Britney's career one iota.  Her problem right now is being an unnattractive would-be sex symbol.  I can foresee the release of some (post-custody case) home-made porn if things don't pick up.

I might actually get behind that. Deliver the dogs to the arena in your designer purse and set them loose on each other. First dog to fall asleep from boredom or make a yapping sound loses.
