I'm hoping the offpeak US launch will help a bit with getting in. I've already got the alarm set for 2:45am EST. I even checked with comcast and was pleasantly greeted to an increase in speed with a quick modem reset. Last thing I need is people to play with, but for some reason none of my friends are buyin. :/

Fry's ran out of CE copies. That was a fucking waste of 2+ hours. That was my 3rd Blizzard midnight launch I've been to at that store and the first time they ran out of CE copies. They didn't have that many regular copies left either. Not sure what Blizzard was thinking in terms of their game allocation. They knew this was the most preordered product they've ever had and yet they apparently shipped out many fewer boxes than before.

Don't worry. Nobody I know has even managed to get past character creation. The reward for not getting screwed over on buying the game is getting screwed over on login, at least at the moment. ^^ |
