Hi, dorks. I'm a visiting dork from another subforum here on our vast United Dorkdom. I thought the people of your land might find this dorky offering from my dorky hobby interesting:

I painted this miniature (it's a bit over an inch high) for a painting challenge where we take fantasy miniatures and paint them up like a superhero. I went for classic Ororo.

That's really well done, Sky.  What were some of the other entries?

One of my least favorite X-Men but a really good paint job nonetheless.

Over and out.

Figured this thread would be about the awesome movie. Came away disappointed.

vampirehipi23: I would enjoy a book written by a monkey and turned into a movie rather than this.

Thanks for the nice comments. Still a couple weeks left in the competition and it's open to non-comic themes, you just get a bonus for using the theme. Only two other comic-themed entries thus far, one guy is working on a Thor that I know of.

The she-hulk paint job is terrible and heavy-handed. Zombie Hulk is, well... eh, it's Hulk. Cable would've been a fun one. A large, black, heavily-armed zombie. Good times.

The guy who did She-Hulk is pretty new. So am I, but people develop at different rates, I guess. Also, that model is wicked small, I skipped it in the Learn to Paint Kit because it looked like a pain in the ass.

The hulk is a flesh golem from the Ravenloft board game.

I'm pretty happy with Storm, it was cool having a pretty clear direction for the project and now I want to paint more models like superheros!
