I painted this miniature (it's a bit over an inch high) for a painting challenge where we take fantasy miniatures and paint them up like a superhero. I went for classic Ororo. Still a couple weeks left in the competition and it's open to non-comic themes, you just get a bonus for using the theme. Only two other comic-themed entries thus far, one guy is working on a Thor that I know of.

Title: Re: I come in peace Post by: Sky on February 13, 2013, 07:41:13 PM The guy who did She-Hulk is pretty new. So am I, but people develop at different rates, I guess. Also, that model is wicked small, I skipped it in the Learn to Paint Kit because it looked like a pain in the ass.
The hulk is a flesh golem from the Ravenloft board game. I'm pretty happy with Storm, it was cool having a pretty clear direction for the project and now I want to paint more models like superheros! |
