You bug your guys to play their matches then play yours when you roll over probably some time before the 21st.

Lost 2-0 to comstar, will let him upload and post stats.

Having started with nearly 1,000,000 of inducements I knew it'd be a tough game. With him having nearly as many strength 4 players as I did, and many of his players being level 5 or 6 with block/guard and other skills on pretty much every player I was just utterly out classed with my starting skill-less team. I was being out bashed by a throwing team, that's never a good thing... Don't think I stood much of a chance, but the better team with good coaching got the win.

The Minizilla's 2 - Fianna Chulain 1

The match started and Iain lost the toss so I elected to receive and set myself up for a standard cage and centre push. Within the first 3 turns I had removed both wardancers and his agi 5 super catcher meaning the chances of Iain breaking my cage were slim to non and I worked on reducing the elves as bloodily as possible scoring 3 injuries (one wardancer badly hurt which Iain apoth'd to death and I was a little miffed he didn't allows the pointy eared bugger to pop her mortal coil) and 2 KO's were the end result before walking in the opening touchdown. Iain received but as he didn't get a blitz or a quick snap there was no opportuinity for a 1 turn score so with no return injuries scored the second half began.

This time it was a different story, I kicked to Iain and he blitzed with a wardancer to make space and then leapt and dodged her into my backfield, however the very next move was a failed pickup by the agi 5 thrower so sensing my opportunity for a steal I blitz an elf out of the way to make room and move a marking skink up to mark the ball and as I bring another up I fail the second GFI and re-roll KO'ing my skink in the process. Iain blitz's the skink marking the ball scoring a badly hurt scoops it up with his thrower who lobs it down the field with no problems to the waiting wardancer who runs the ball over the line for a standard 2 turn score.

I received and was not too concerned to be honest seeing how I had totally decimated his team in the first half surely it would only be a case of surviving the odd blitz and marching up the field to score a last turn winner, however now my injury dice decided to desert me (though I did score another 3 injuries throughout the course of the half) I couldn't get rid of his damn wardancers, even starting the drive off with a wizard lightning bolt on Iains dauntless wardancer that scored a hit but failed to break armour. Iain leap blitzed my carrying skink around 4 times in the remaining 6 turns, scoring a pow every time to pop the ball loose but nuffle was not smiling on the elves tonight as the ball refused to pop out somewhere nice for a quick steal for the plucky woodelves and eventually the sheer number of blocks I was being allowed to throw against the woodelves began to tell and I finally managed to work myself clear of markers and break up the pitch.

I gave myself a scare at one point, thinking it was the last turn and I had moved my skink in scoring range back as a cage corner, thereby blowing my chance of winning but it turned out I had counted right and through Iain managed to blitz a skink corner and put a marker on my carrier I easily pushed the marker away and ran in a last turn touchdown to make the final score 2 - 1.

Another fun game and at last my luck versus woodelves changes, though it could easily have been another story if nuffle had been a little kinder to Iain in the second half. I had 4 level ups at the end of the match so now have a plethora of side stepping skinks, all saurus' have block and my superstar +agi, safe hands skink now has block. Please Nuffle don't let my next opponent kill him in his next match, that would make me a very sad panda!

Met the Minizillas tonight and it was a very tense and dramatic match that could easily have swung the other way.

I kicked to the Lizards and right away they formed a strong cage around their ball carrying Skink. The Elves jumped in and out trying to pop it free but suffered a self inflicted KO on one Wardancer following a botched dodge on their first turn and then an injury on the other Wardancer during the Lizard's second turn. The Apothecary wanted to end her life but the Elven fans dragged him away before he could finish his grisly work and the Wardancer was escorted to the sidelines for a bit of a sit down. With no Wardancers left and Elves leaving the pitch at a steady rate, I decided that contesting the ball was a fool's errand and concentrated on Skink genocide instead. This was partially successful as I badly hurt one of the little diving tackle fuckers but I didn't manage much more than that. I also chain fouled the Krox for three turns in a row with a bunch of players but didn't manage to do more than keep him stunned until halftime. The Lizards walked the ball over on their last turn of the half and that was that.

The second half started with the fans beaning one of my line-elves with a rock and then my Agi 5 Sure Hands catcher failing to pick the ball up. The Lizards got a coupel of Skinks down to mark the ball but the second failed a GfI and a Wardancer was able to blitz the first out of the way. That left the catcher clear to pick the ball up, trot up the pitch with it and throw it to the second Wardancer who had blitzed her way into the 'Zilla's half in the previous turn. She caught it and skipped over the line to even the score on turn 10.

The Elves kicked off again and Ulysees decided that he really didn't like Dauntless, Strip ball, Jump Up Wardancers so he lightning bolted her which took her down but failed to injure her. There then followed a very tense if frustrating series of turns where I was able to leap into the Lizard cage and knock the ball carrier down but every time the ball bounced to a bad spot and I was unable to get a hand to it. Four times in a row I took the ball carrier down but couldn't get the ball away. Eventually the weight of Elvish injuries and the solidity of the Lizards started to tell and they pushed the cage down the field far enough to get the Skink into scoring range on their penultimate turn. I made a critical mistake in not standing up my wardancer (who would have been able to get a blitz on the ball carrier if she'd stood up and moved) because I thought she was stunned and that meant I only got a blitz on an escortign skink instead, The Lizards easily pushed my marker away and ran in the winner on the last turn of the game.

Was a good game that I thought I could win right up until the very end. I got two level ups and Ulysees got four, I also have a line-elf missing the next game.

Satael's rookie rats held me to a 1-0 win with some very sharply played defense, and some help from Morg'n'Thorg (first time I've seen him this season, in something of an upset.) Luckily he also hired Headsplitter, who decided to take a dive and roll timely double skulls a few times, eventually hurting himself and being carried off the pitch. Rumors that he was bribed with dwarven ale and gold are just RECKLESS SPECULATION.

2 rat deaths were saved by the rat apothecaries (nimble little fingers I guess) and one unskilled linerat took a -1 to agility.

The 1-0 score just reflects how the dwarves had too much fun bashing the rats into pieces to bother with silly things like scoring.
My "brilliant" plan was foiled when one of the dwarves actually bothered to score when there weren't enough rats left on field standing for the dwarves to bash  why so serious?

I mailed out my pc last Tuesday, and they said it should get here Wednesday.  Provided that ups didn't kick the box all the way from California to DC, and it still works, I should be available by then.  Also, can who ever has the power please change my time zone to east coast time instead of west coast in the info thread?

AND I'M OFF THE SCHNIDE!

Zellar Dwellarz 4 - Ironwood's Itchers 0

Rat on rat action, with lots of knockdowns, dodges and a pair of useless tits with the arrogance to call themselves rat ogres. I think they might have had 4 turns of not being on their asses or wild animals the entire game combined. It was almost all Zellar Dwellarz. I think Ironwood had a few "Cyanide has a shite UI" moments, including a foul that got a player sent off and ended a turn when he didn't need it. I inflicted more KO's and more knockdowns (but not by much) and he inflicted 5 injuries. Luckily none were miss next game and only 1 was significant (a gutter runner with -1 AV). Ironwood rolled a SHITLOAD of 1's on the D6, but his block dice were awful. 42% to my 56%, and more turnovers because of it. With my passing game actually working this time (only missed 1 pass and it was a long one with my level 1 thrower instead of the level 2) and gutter runners ran amok.

I think that makes me out to be more competant than I actually was, but fair enough.

The odd bit of the match was one of my rats running to the front and then fouling someone for no reason.

No idea what went on there.

Oh, your not getting off that easy!  Nuffle loooooves to fuck with me (and all elven players) at the worst time.   You can do it!  Though since I think I may have a busy schedule from here on, plan on next weekend being the best day to play, unless your available to play in the later parts of your evenings.
