I'm slightly confused as I expected it 2 day delivery, but the order lists as 'Release Date Shipping' (should arrive May 15th). No notice of it being shipped yet, however.
Just wanted to thank f13 for this. Without Amazon gift cards, poor Slay would probably not even have this escape! Look forward to crawling some dungeons with y'all....

I'm not sure how widespread this issue is, but if you make a pinned taskbar shortcut from one of the shortcuts that Diablo III installed (desktop/start menu), they're some crazy witchcraft icons that you can't right-click on, have no jump list, and don't show up in the AppData folder with all the others. But you can move it around the taskbar!  This also was the case during the beta from the searches I did earlier today, but all of those seemed to be solved by uninstalling the game, which isn't terribly useful. The business end of the how-to I wrote on removing it is this: - Find the original shortcut you pinned to the taskbar. (Skip to 3 if you already deleted it, like with the desktop icon.)
- Send it to the recycle bin.
- Click on the taskbar icon. Prompt will pop up asking if you want to delete the shortcut. Do so.
- Restore the original shortcut back to wherever it was if you want.
You can then go into the install directory and make a shortcut the old-fashioned way. I'm sure there's a more elegant solution than this (and I still want to know where the icon goes if it's not C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar ...) but maybe someone here will find it useful. |

Is there any way to add Battle tags/friends to your account without being logged into a game? I'm thinking along the lines of through use of battle.net website. I'm not seeing one but want to make sure I'm not missing one either. Much more time to do so now than when the game starts

Should be able to do it in Starcraft 2. WoW does not work with Battletags yet. |

Anyone know if there might be any problem installing from the Eu English version as a US english resident (canada?).
I pre-downloaded the installer since I got the game through the Annual Pass deal, but somehow it defaulted to the enGB installer instead of the enUS installer, and i never picked up on this untill i tried to install today and got the error. Seems grabbing the enUS installer and pointing it at a renamed enGB directory does not work, as it tries to download the entire 7gig installer from scratch.

Whep, I installed with the enGB European English version of the downloader, and It installed just fine. Though now I am stuck with "British English" as my only english language choice, which could be interesting.
Strangely, I seem to have a slight De-sync between the voice and motion in the Opening cinematic. Everything is off by about half a second. Lips move and then voice occurs. No idea what is causing that.

Global Play is off until "some time after" all regions launch. Does that mean that if Installed with the EU client I wont be able to connect to the NA servers even though I live in NA? or is the region locking based on Bnet account and not game client? Edit: never mind, should have read the link. Seems to be Account based. |

Try the reddit link I posted (last page I think?) if you mean the client installer off of your battle net account. Otherwise, I'd check your settings if you mean running the installer does nothing since I'm downloading at almost 2mb/s currently |
