2/10 WOULD NOT INGEST

Spiritual successor to Frisky Dingo.  I was wary.  I also wanted Adam Reed to do Archer's voice even though I like Jon Benjamin.  However, Benjamin works and the writing is intact.  I say it is good after two episodes.

The pilot episode kind of fell flat to me - maybe because it felt like I'd already seen all the joke. But based on my love of Frisky Dingo, I stuck with it. It's starting to hit its stride now. I watched last night's episode with my wife this morning. I loved it. She made this face  ACK! all through it.

I was about to make a topic for this.  Stop reading my mind!

I loved Sealab, Frisky Dingo, and Jon Benjamin (Coach McGirk in Home Movies).

Premiere was so-so, but the followups have been wonderful.  There's usually a couple classic lines per episode...  like the hooker/call girl definition.

Just caught the first three episodes on Hulu and really love it so far.  Office humor of most any type usually drives me up walls, but the exchanges are zany and short enough that they work for me.

I think it's an Archer marathon this Thursday instead of a new episode.  Good chance to catch up!

Just started watching this on Netflix.

It is fairly entertaining. And ya, the blimp episode, funny stuff.

The breast cancer ep was pretty good....  but I thought this week's "chemo rampage" episode was hilarious.

This season has been weak so far IMO, but the last 2 episodes were much better.

I wish they would give Judy Greer's character more to do. I love Judy Greer! Even in utter garbage like Jawbreaker and The Curse she's awesome. But she might as well not even be in Archer.

Are you kidding? She had the throwaway line of the episode with, "Casablumpkin".

Don't get me started with her rubber cement eating a few eps back. She's on a slow burn to something really insane.

I have to agree with this. Though it's small doses, her character always makes me laugh my ass off.

Between Archer, Justified and It's always sunny in philadelphia FX has my top three favorite shows right now, and i hear good things about the league also.  And whatever that show is they have coming with Frodo might be good too.

I am very intrigued by Wilfred.  That looks like it's either going to be darkly hilarious, or completely awful.

Overall, FX really has a good record with original programming....  Sons of Anarchy and Damages, the first 4 seasons or so of Rescue Me, even Terriers and Lights Out were getting some rave reviews even if no one was watching them.

The League is very funny too - it's as wrong if not more wrong than Always Sunny, but more suburban dad/football nerd gone wrong type of funny.

I really like Archer, especially the newer ones that actually make a shred of sense.  Love his butler!  The one in the swamp was really good, the writing has drastically improved from the first season.

Yeah FX has good shows, but my favorite, Rescue Me, jumped the shark when Gavin went back on the sauce.  Fuck that shit, those story lines have been done to death already.  Gave me four or five great years though.
