I've not been able to do any interaction whatsoever--either it's an obtuse interface, or it requires doing something I've not--and I've tried :P

There is none.. the only interaction is looking for people with wimpy powers and avoiding those with imbalanced powers (like noodle bowls). That and re-rolling your character if it doesn't get an imbalanced combo.

I guess you could also say spamming forums trying to get disciples / duels is another but that's too much of a reality dysfunction for me.

None of my Spice Girls can beat Mansaurus.  Not even Old Spice.  Since they only ever fight Mansaurus regularly, and each other, there seems no reason for them to carry on.  They might retire - except for the ones that I've stolen which can be stolen by anyone until their real owner password protects them.  Still - there seems no use.  Maybe I'll change them into Emo Girls.

I tried farming Signe, but she beat me a couple times.

Signe is actually not me, although I use her sometimes because she's not password protected.  My chars are:  StepfordSigne, FatOldBastard, Young Alex, thejeni, Bullemia and some others.  Oh, Posh Spice is mine and I use some other spice girls to try and beat up Mansaurus (who is Schild) and Lantyssa because I think she likes it.  It's hot to have your ass kicked by a Spice Girl, no?  Most of my brutes suck, too.  I think Righ has the right idea if you want to do well in this game.  Start bajillions of brutes under your mains and write a script to play them - he worked it all out although neither of us will do it because - who can be arsed to write scripts for a game that plays with itself?

This is a brute with a high tendency to just fucking throw shit. He pulls out his weapon, strikes with it once, and then sends it sailing across the screen. He pulls his second weapon and does it again, causing an instant loss. And he seems to do this every. single. fight.

My Brute used to do that regularly. Now he doesn't even bother to pull out his one and only weapon until the very end when it's too late to do any good.
