I don't know if dx10 is even really in game yet, they have had the option to select it for a while but it was fake and still used dx9. A similar picture in dx9.

I'm starting to think that DX10 isn't implimented. I set the patcher settings to go to DX10, but upon entering the game, the drop down selection was DX9. I changed it in game to DX10, with the usual dialog box saying that the machine may seize up while the settings take, but nothing really happened, other than the drop down menu saying it was DX10 now.

I should get back to nature, too. You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer. Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached. Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

It's supposed to be up in a few mins. Allegedly.
Nope. Sorry. They extended it an hour. So far. Who knows when it'll be back, if ever. Funcom bites.

I'd love to. I hate my people and I like the f13 assholery much much more. But it's a Guild thing, with extremely ancient roots. I can't ditch 'em on this, not on Age of Conan. Or not yet.
Then again, I am not sure if I can play on a US server. Do I only need the US client, or can I play with some config file to make it connect to a different login IP?

Well.
Going to be joining some former guild/alliance buddies from DAoC, originally set for Anu. Anu has mysteriously disappeared, so plans were changed to Zug. I might actually run into some folks now.
That's if I can get the fucking program to run.

So If I purchase the AoC US version, I can play both EU and US servers ? If this is so, I'm buying a retail key right now Getting Collectors Edition on Friday, but I'm bored of waiting. EDIT : I also have the Fileplanet beta client, can I patch that one ?

I know this one. No. You positive ? Anyhow, how do people with guest passes download the game for example ? I'm referring to " out of the box". You can't just log into the fileplanet one and begin patching. Its dead. So, other than some really convoluted poking around in various files or some other crazy crap that i don't know about. I'm about 100% sure. Because i tried. As for the download, i assume for now you may have to loan disks. Not sure about that at all.

Hi I'm a 10th Ranger named Furio, can I get a guild invite? I'll be looking for Viin and Signe to ask them online.
This game rocks.

Playing some bear shaman guy. No clue what I'm doing. I have no spells yet that I can see. No clue what to do with my skill points. Haven't figured out the chat window yet. Combat is pretty durn fun although I'm mostly mashing my fist against the keyboard. I like the action RPG feel to it, though. Anyways... back to it!

Well since I'm apparently unable to resist any MMOG - particularly one that even Schild enjoys - I'll be picking this up this weekend. Will be on Sat. night as a complete noob.
