Those frogs were actually part of a mass migration which occurred about a week prior to the recent quake in China but the strangeness of it gave me Cthulu vibes.

Har har smartypants.  I haven't found anything about the frogs' migration prior to the earthquake other than what's on conspiracy sites and blogs. I want to believe!

The frog migration is reported on Wikipedia, which is refering to some Chinese sources. Doesn't mean it's true, but it wouldn't be unprecedented either: animals sometimes take note of some upcoming calamity before humans do.
