I should have 2. Not that it really matters all that much. I'll go with the Pats and the Giants.
Your picks:

Jacksonville
Tennessee
Washington
Tampa Bay

NE
Dallas
Seattle
Indy

You have 1.

So all the teams that sat players are now out. Wonder if we'll start to see a different thought on sitting your stars once you clinch a playoff berth?

I have to LOL at the people picking the Giants, or expecting the Giants to put up great numbers against Dallas. It is to laugh.

I can't let this one go by without a huge awesome, for real

Shit, I'm STILL laughing. I wanted to be wrong on that one, because I do so hate the Cowboys and Terrell Owens. But seriously, I'd never have logically thought ELI FUCKING MANNING, coached by Tom Coughlin, I never would have thought that motherfucker would not cough up an INT or two in a big game. It just defies logic. And it just goes to show that even when you know something, you don't know nothing.

Indy and Dallas both suck ass after having bye weeks in the playoffs, especially when they get rested during those weeks. Both teams played under their talent, and both lost.

I just hope it's Green Bay that beats the Patriots. Even as a die-hard Packers fan, I don't think they WILL beat New England, but I sure hope they do.

Apparently the Seahawks defense missed the fucking team plane. That was easily the worst performance of the season for them. Perfect timing. Ugh.

The Cowboys shitting the bed officially sealed my 2nd place finish in my FF league, just when Peyton and the Colts losing had given me hope. Fuck.

Perhaps, but shall we discuss the 6 points by the Seattle Offense? It is so wonderful that we pay Alexander $30mil/year. Having spent a decade in Denver all I'm going to say is that most of that cash should be in Seattle's O line.

GB v NE - while hoping SD pulls the upset.

Both Favre and Manning throw more than 2 INTs each in an ugly game. NE wins by less than a TD.

re: Alexander on the Seahawks, for real, get rid of him.  There is such a fucking disgusting amount of talent coming out of the college ranks at RB these days.  Also, please to be rebuilding your WR corps some time in the next decade?  I haven't seen a good WR wearing anything but #80 on the Seahawks since I was born it feels like.

Seattle thinks its better then it is, because the NFC West is fucking terrible.  The 49ers will not be good until the Yorks are gone, Mike Martz 4tl?  The sooner Bruce/Holt go away the sooner the Rams might stop sucking and I dont know if I even think the Cardinals want to win anymore.  Also lol @ Warner as starter.  The fact that people honestly thought that offense was "unstoppable" is pretty funny.  There isn't a single gamebreaker at any skill position on that offense.  I feel real bad for Holgren, except fuck that, Favre is awesome.

Holt is good. What kind of crack do you smoke? Also, Bruce is a solid wideout too. Try talking about an offensive line first to protect your quarterback before you go bashing receivers and looking silly.

Boldin & Fitzgerald are an outstanding pair of receivers.  Otherwise, yeah.

The Rams have been living in the past for fucking forever now.  They've wasted years not being a run-first team (Jackson is a Beast, everyone knows that) partially because of Martz but I think partially because Bruce/Holt are so great blahblah.  They aren't worthless yet but the Rams just don't ever seem to be getting younger and I catch their games at least once a year usually twice thanks to living in NFC West territorry.  I liked that white 3rd WR they had/have he needs to get the ball more.  Presumably they've been drafting defense but you sure wouldn't know it.  I didn't mean to single out Bruce/Holt as much as say that as soon as that era ends the Rams might get around to fully rebuilding the team instead of trying to patch it together enough to go 2-0 against Seattle and win that shitty shit division.

I meant Seattles offense.  Obviously this was a case of rushed shitty from-work posting 4tL.

Hoax, here's what my Rams gameplan would be.

#1) Draft offensive line. By doing this, we protect Marc Bulger, we improve Steven Jackson, and we improve Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt, and whatever other receievers we still have.
#2) Draft a shut-down corner and a good middle linebacker to lead the defense.

I'm not a big Rams fan, but the number of times I counted 15+ yard plays while watching fantasy updates in Rams games because I drafted Holt this year was astounding.

Hell if we can get to the superbowl this year with one of the youngest teams around where we didn't have any running game to speak of for half the year it will be a huge win for us even if we can't beat the pats. I think if greenbay was firing on all cylinders and the pats played like they did the last few weeks they are beatable but we would have to play flawless.

Hell this weeks game will be fun one way or the other NYG vs Packers in lambeau in january that is football right there folks no matter who wins.

Not true.  Packers v Cowboys would have been a great Jan football flashback to the 90's.  Packers v Giants is gheyed up by Eli being Eli, I want to see a curbstomping, preferably with multiple sacks and ints of that stupid fuck.

Super Bowl: NE over SD. With a healthy SD and a little sloppy weather, this could've been the game, but it looks like coronation time.
JV: NYG over GB.  What the hell, I am stinking up the picks this year.  As the old saying goes, on any given Sunday, Brett Favre is capable of utterly falling apart.

This post makes me want to squeeze into my badass red jeans.

As much as I'd love to see San Diego put the superbowl beat down on any team including Eli Manning, what my heart wants is not what my heart will get.

New England over Green Bay, end of the story.

Rematch of Week 17. Really didn't see the Giants taking that game. I think this will probably be a better SB than a NE-GB one though. I wonder if Eli can really handle that kind of pressure.

And today we learn that there are four quarters to football.   Which apparently Green Bay forgot given how they played in the second half.

This sport is decided on penalties and it's almost as random as our Football. Why do I keep watching both?!

I am glad for the Giants though. A few catches by Burress and Toomer were worth the Superbowl.

Yah, the Packers would have been mauled by the Pats with the amount of pressure they generated today.  What a completely listless game from the Pack. They didn't even deserve to go to OT.

And yah, I was wrong this week. Heck, even San Diego had a chance.

Super Bowl Quarterback ELI FUCKING MANNING.

Seriously... what the fuck?

The Packers never bothered to run. What did they give it to Grant, 10 times? Maybe? That right there is stupid. They were acting like this was the beginning of the season. No wonder they couldn't move the ball in the second half. And what the fuck was with Al Harris tonight? He couldn't cover a gimpy Burress all goddamn game. They stopped the Giants running game, but couldn't beat ELI FUCKING MANNING.

I do have to give Eli credit, though. He never fucked up. He never folded, not all damn postseason. I still don't give him a chance in hell against New England, but he's earned a bit of respect today.

Grant had one good run all game. Credit NYG's defense (even though I picked GB.).

Oh yeah, Manning played better than Favre. Sorry.

On NE over SD: WTF is Norv Turner punting for when his team is in NE territory late 4th quarter…?

On NYG over GB: Favre threw some stupid passes, Packers were owned for most of the game sans a few a few plays, yet still blew the ballgame as all they had to do was to fall on a loose ball once and the story would be Coughlin's wreck of a coaching job… …Giants deserved to win, they were the better team and totally stymied GB in 2nd half. Packers figured out how to stop Plaxico in 2nd half, but not the other 10 guys on Giants offense…

I predict NE slaughter of Giants + Eli but one has to admit that Giants are looking like team of destiny, kind of like Steelers road warrior squad from 2006 super bowl that took their 6th seed and won out… …but handling NE on more fertile passing game conditions is a whole different nut…

"Should the batman kill Joker because it would save more lives?" is a fundamentally different question from "should the batman have a bunch of machineguns that go BATBATBATBATBAT because its totally cool?". ~Goumindong
