As someone who is a Giants fan (as much as I can be a sports fan which isn't much), and who lives in New England for all my life, I would LOVE the Giants to win.
Actually, it could be any team and I would want them to beat the Pats.

New England sports fans are tied with New York sports fans (I get to hear both working at a casino) as the most annoying sports fans around.
(Though I am sure Texas football fans would be worse.  Luckily they are a couple time zones away from me.)

But the Patriots will probably win. :(

I hate the Giants. I know the Pats keep on winning and shit, but I'd rather see them win. And for the first time, I find their offense fun to watch. So I'm not exactly a Patriots hater anyways.

I would just like to take this space to say:  Super bowl parties suck.

I'm having a relatively small one and it seems like every time I turn around it's another 80 dollar trip to the grocery store for 1 more thing.

Also, GO GIANTS! Not because I like them, just because, you know, fuck the Pats in their ear.

Patriots win the entry music battle with Crazy Train.

Man, Brady is getting man handled.

But that just makes him angry.

This game really shows how football is won with the lines and NY is dominating.

It'd be funny if that field goal ended up winning this for the giants. Not that I want them to win.

In spite of NE having the rep of being a little dirty, I just dislike Eli Manning that much.

Jeez, it's like NE decided it was time to win the game and flipped the switch.

I've watched a total of three NFL games this year.

This ending has been one of the better one's I've seen.

Down goes Brady!

I'm not a Giant's fan, but I'd love to see the Patriots crying.

Nah, Eli won that game with his guts. That play of him getting out of the grasp and completing it for 40 yards was legendary.

Good game. NE lost that game in the first half by not adjusting to NY's pressure.

Oh, and the only reason I wanted NE to win this game so we didn't have to hear from those insufferable 72 Dolphin pricks ever again.

It was an incredible throw topped by an incredible catch.    Great game overall,  though I'm slightly stunned by the extent of Bellicheck's tantrum throwing.  Walking off the field like that was childish and indefensible.

There is a god.  awesome, for real

Man, that was great. Incredible scramble by Eli, incredible tantrum by Bellicheck.

How about Aikman saying that the Giants might want to punt with 1:50 left in the game. The fuck? Thankg god the Giants weren't that dumb.

I don't like either team, but that was a legendary game, a true super bowl.  Glad the cheatin' Pats lost, glad Eli came out from Peyton's shadow, glad Frank Caliendo picked more winners than any of those empty suits and finally glad that football robot got it's ass terminated.

That was a pretty decent game overall I thought.

It was mostly dull, and saved by an incredibly entertaining last few minutes. The highlight was the sensational catch by Tyree.

I don't get all the Eli love after he pulled what he did on draft day. I don't hate the guy, but that was kind of a dickish move.

And on the punt, I think Aikman was talking about if they ended up with a decent sized amount of yardage to go on 4th which isn't an unreasonable option with 3 time outs.

EDIT: Oh, I should also note that I thought NE made a huge mistake by not running it when they got down to the 7. They could easily have given the ball back to the Giants with under 2 minutes left instead of 2:30. Would have made a big difference.

The closeness of the score really kept me interested despite quite a few three and outs.

With 1:50 left? Even at 4th and 10 seems pretty stupid to me, especially after NE just put together a good drive and the Giant's D was looking tired. Best you can hope for is getting the ball back with 1:20 left and probably no timeouts. If they do score a 1st then you're fucked, and even if they don't you've got a minute to go down the field for a TD.

The girl singing the Star Spangled Banner did a phenomenal job.  Am I the only person that gets choked up a bit when I hear a really good rendition of it?

Boring game, with the exception of the last 4 minutes or so.
Two good commercials (Bud Clydesdale Rocky, Stock Trading Baby)
Not having a dog in the fight, I was pushing for NE, just to shut Don Shula the fuck up.  Not an Eli fan, but not a Brady fan either.  Coin toss for the game if it werent for history being on the line.

If Strahan or the other DE didn't get MVP, they're doing it wrong.  Those two guys played lights out every single play.

4th and anything over 4 is a very low percentage play and your game is basically done. If you punt, you can get a turn over on the catch and NE is likely to run three low-yard plays. You will get the ball back with 1:20-1:25 in pretty much the same place or advance if you get a good return. Offense can be effective without TO's. I'm not saying it is a slam dunk call to punt, but it isn't unreasonable in that circumstance.
