To be honest, the 'review', if you can call it that, was so flippant that I don't know how accurate it was in any way shape or form. I've driven Z series BMWs, and although I concur with the show that its not a rally car or a lamborghini, its not seriously designed to be. Its engine is in the front, for starters, and the design is wrong, always has been wrong, for cornering. This isn't exactly a revelation. Its a convertible, in line with most performance specs your average Mercedes small car convertible has. I do not think it ever aimed for the 911-type market. It just doesn't even remotely try to deal with the same issues. |

I never drove Z8, but old 6-series and new 6 series are fairly good drive, still I like old body better than new one. Z3 is decent for its price, but by no means spectacular car and I think you are better off with new 335 or M3. Z4 is very enjoyable drive, I have not a single bad thing to say about it. M5 also deserves a mention, but don't bother with SMG transmission E60 and IMO E34 M5 was best. I'd personally would buy 650 over Z8. 335 over Z3. M5 over Z4 Still by far my favorite BMW ride is manual 850. http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-4786792521744177758&q=bmw+850In the video abover 850 overtook was going 200+km/h. http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-5933900761322176399&q=bmw+850There are good things to be said about 7-series, but they stopped making manual 7 in 93 and to really enjoy car you need manual. There are shops converting 7s to manual but its a) costly b) lineup few years long c)AFAIK nobody does it to newer 760 v12 |

What the fuck is supposed to be happening there? I've seen that kind of nonsense before, but never understood it. Is he supposed to be slapping the sin out of people? And if that's the idea, do these people really believe this guy has magic powers or whatever? Also, all of those people - their votes in elections count just as much as ours.  |
