I felt like it got too dark at points, not that actually...it got less, subtle? The implications of it are already dark but when they got to the newborn baby couple it felt like they were trying too hard.

He's overtly filming though, google glass is more of a passive act. Not saying people won't flip the fuck out about glass but that guy was being a dick and deliberately provoking a reaction, either in semi private class rooms or even when one guy was having a private phone conversation.
I think there's a big difference between surveillance cameras being active in an area and entering an area with a camera to specifically film someone.

Take away that camera and any student that just walks into a classroom and just stands there like a dolt is also going to be asked in no uncertain terms to leave. Its a small mercy on him that campus police didn't cart him off.
