I got demolished in both leagues this week.  I can't beleive David Carr didn't lead my team to victory over Murdoc.  What is even worse is Murdoc picked up M Barber for this weeks game to beat me with a cowboys player.

That hurts double since it looks like my hurt J. Jones may not have a job to come back to after that 2 (almost 3) touchdown performance.

P.S.  Fuck Tatum Bell in garbage time.

P.S.S.  Wow I can concievable finish this year with both my starting running backs this year riding the pine... and my 3rd is Ronnie Brown who is going to get fewer and fewer carries as Ricky gets better... anyone wanna trade :p

Twice in two weeks in two different leagues wasn't it? RAR

Gotta love H2H where my team is 13th out of 14 teams for scoring, yet I'm riding a 6-2 record and in 3rd place (counting this week). My luck HAS to run out sooner or later...

My 5th highest scoring team with a 3-5 record hates you

I hope that luck runs out first week of the playoffs :p

Edit:  Hey if Heath Miller gets about 3 more TDs I can make a game of it still :p

Ack. That is why I hate H2H leagues. At least this year my spot in the standings actually reflects my team's point output for the year. I am usually in the opposite of Murdoc- top 3 or 4 in scoring, but mired below .500 in the standings.

Lost by .65 points. With 3 major players on a bye and LT going for 40 fucking points against me.  Hines Ward with one catch because Charlie Batch makes Kyle Orton look like Peyton.   This is just heartbreaking, especially in a week where I scored enough points to beat just about anyone else except monkey boy. Gah, one catch would have done it.

And can people stop deifying Vick for having a 228 yard, 1 touchdown game? I mean, really, those are numbers you get from such superstars like Brooks Bollinger or Phil Simm's kid.

Dick Vermeil, you may cry like a bitch at every press conference, but you've got brass balls.

Good Christ, my team coughed up a hairball this week. Fucking Domanick Davis. I love that they don't say he isn't gonna play until about 4 nanoseconds before kickoff. HATE.

Wow, what a shithole my team has become.  Decimated by injuries, horrid bye-week timing, and then TO goes and sticks the final fork in.

That said, if tonights game is a shoot out, Indy scores a lot and doesn't turn it over, and Branch gets in the end zone, I can actually win since Murdoc's team decided to go in the shitter also.  Convenient.

Yeah that sucked. But even so it wouldn't have saved you this week. Harrison is catching TD's from Peyton, it would have just been a wash tonight.

I MIGHT pull this one out. Thank you, Fred Motherfucking Taylor for spraining your vagina... AGAIN. Why did I sub you for Stephen Davis again? Oh right, because you were playing the worst defense in the league, and Davis was playing the best. Motherfucker. Two TD's just sitting on the bench.

Jermaine Wiggins got me 1 point. That's TE's for you.

God, Green Bay fucking sucks. I weep. Watching their games is just painful, and not just for the fans. It seems to be painful for the players as they keep losing guys to injuries. They are now down to a guy named FUCKING GADO for tailback, and trumpeting 62 yards and a TD as a good performance. Favre is doing his best David Carr imitation out there, just trying to stay alive. I almost hope he retires just so he won't end up going to the Hall of Fame in a fucking wheelchair. Also, Ahmad Carroll, you aren't an NFL-level cornerback. Give it up. Put your hands on the ball, not the receiver.

Please Edgerrin James have a killer game. Please Tom Brady have a killer game. Please, Peyton, throw 20 TD's to Reggie Wayne and hand off the ball to Edge the other plays. Uggh.

When I'm depending on the 3rd string GB running back for points (who I didn't find out wasn't playing until I had left the house) you KNOW it's going to be a high scoring game... HA!

Lost by .5 points, indi D almost pulled it out for me with that sack/fumble at the end of the game last night but that one B.S. NE touchdown that should have been challenged screwed me.   That and Randy Moss with his tremendous 1 catch game.... hello longest losing streak in the league.

Eat my dust, mother bitches! The triumvirate of Brady, Wayne and the Edge put me way the hell over the top! LE WOOT!

That game was great to watch, but only because I'm not only rooting for the Colts this year (since I know Green Bay has zero chance at the playoffs), but because I could actually take pleasure in any success by both Brady and the Colts' offense. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Brady is money.

I love it when a plan comes together.  Can't believe I survived a week with such a homer line-up.

It's gonna be a tough haul the rest of the way, but hopefully Bulger still has something in his arm this week.

I'm gonna do my best to keep the sinking ship afloat, it is a long season after all, but losing Owens and Holmes in one week, well, I guess hanging the Championship banner on the wall was a little premature.

Larry Johnson is going to be GOLD from here on out.  LJ + SJ are going to be a monsterous 1-2 punch. Too bad I really don't have a fighting chance in hell to run the table and make the playoffs.  I have a feeling my receivers and statue-man Drew will let me down.

And damn Sauced, you did get fucked.  Well, my two top picks didn't turn out that well for me either.  I just really miss Marv now.  I know what I was thinking when I made my trade, I just didn't count on Charlie Batch having to sling passes and Heath Miller gobling up all of the Pitt red zone tosses.  Ohh well, I make at least one really poor management decision each season.

Goddamnit, what possessed me to play Moose over Ward?  That's right, Charlie Batch's horrid performance the game before.  Then Kyle Orton and Cody Pickett proceed to have a "who's the shittier QB running the shittier offense" competition (I'm sure that wind didn't help much, jeez).

That wind in Chicago was INSANE. I saw that field goal that just flew at a 90 degree angle away from the goal posts. I've seen that shit in Wrigley games, but never a football game.

My boys had a good day. Brady, James, Fitzgerald were all money. Big money was Jacksonville's D, which not only kept the Ravens to 3 points (not hard) but pulled down 3 INT's.

Green Bay beat a Falcons' team that looked like it didn't know how to play football. Vick was obviously trying to pass more instead of just running his ass off, and he looked lost. Also, Ahmad Carroll is still a fucking tool. He had a 40-yard pass interference penalty because he played the man not the ball. He didn't even know where the ball was, he just grabs the guy by the shoulder pads and pulls. Retard. Sherman's offensive scheme is about the most boring I've ever seen out of him. Gado is a decent running back, but doesn't have Green or Davenport's flair, and the wideouts are mostly forgettable.

Indy just looked like they were playing street ball against 4th graders against Houston.

But the worst game was the Giants/Vikings. Eli didn't look great, but holy shit his guys were dropping more passes than Seattle. The Vikings scored no points on offense until the winning field goal in the fourth quarter. Their offense was just awful. But the special teams were the bomb. The Giants special teams were just shit. Hell, the Vikes returned a punt for a touchdown and the Giants' punter had a decent opportunity to make the tackle. He just walks on by like he was going to the sidelines and just suddenly realized he had a man near him to tackle. The guy ran past him like he was a pedestrian.

As if things couldn't get worse, the Bears actually have to stop playing JV teams over the next month.  Watching them claw their way from 6-3 to a 9-7 finish is going to be SO much fun, almost as much fun as watching my crappy fantasy team get stomped by Gus Frerotte.  Maybe Glenn will catch 3 TDs tonight?

QB and TE of Dallas v. my Dallas defense tonight. I have the ~30 point edge right now. I honestly don't know if I should be worried or not, but I think I am.

If it turns into a shoot out and Bledsoe uses Whitten a tad more in the redzone than he has all year, I'm good. I don't think I've ever won with a Monday night game when there's a realistic chance at me losing.

I should lose though, just to punish my stupid ass for not starting Ward.

I'm just tickled Vitt is playing Martz ball again.  I mean, hey, why go with what's been winning you games when you have your 3 "studs" back?  Fuck, just because Bulger's in the game doesn't mean your brain has to automatically start including stupid_trick_play_03 and start using Old Man Faulk whever possible.

I had a pretty good week by the looks of it, minus the two players that combined for 1 point.  Great game from Roy Williams, so glad I picked him up off waivers.  Still managed 3rd in points because of him, (with just monday nights game) but of course I played against the 2nd in points for the week..... weeeeeee!

Tiki and the Carolina D crushed me this week.  Head to head has not been kind to me at all but I still like it better then straight up points.  I'll be watching the playoffs from the sidelines this year.

You must have missed the fake field goal he called in the first half. 4th and 3 from inside the 10. They come out like they are going for it, try to draw the defense offside, and then call a timeout when the Hawks don't budge. Out trots the FG unit, and everyone in the stadium is at least aware of the possibility of a fake. Looker (the holder) stands up and laterals the ball to Wilkens, who is promptly thrown for a 3 yard loss. The ghost of Mike Martz is alive and well in the Rams' playbook.

That's what I was referring to.  Awesome way to kill any momentum and completely demoralize your team at the same time.  Perfect Martzball.  Like not trusting your starting quarterback in the closing seconds of a game.  Or running double reverse when the guy doing the pitch hasn't practiced it at all...

Ah, ok- I misread ya- I thought you were praising him for going against all Martz-isms. Vitt does a better job of running the ball more often, but Jackson is still hideously underused. I was terrified every time he got the ball and got into the secondary- he was running over safeties and corners all day. Why he didn't get 35 carries is beyond me.

He didn't get 35 carries because the Rams are THE GREATETESTEST SHOW ON TURFZES! Jackson can plant DB's when he gets past the 2nd level, especially later in the game. He got 17 carries and 5 receptions against the Hawks. Not enough by about 10 touches.

Of course, what can you expect out of a team that openly preaches the dictum that offensive turnovers don't matter?

That was quite a finish.  Hey, at least now my sitting Hines wouldn't have made a difference in the overall outcome.

Is it just me or has Bledsoe looked absolutely horrible anytime someone gets a decent rush on him? The guy just cannot avoid a rush and hangs onto the ball like it's the goddamned One Ring.
