Keep in mind the scoring and shit isn't set in stone yet. If people have better ideas, I'm all for 'em.

I'm also toying with the idea of making this a PLUS league just because I love to throw money around and look important.

I'll join up, but might I offer these suggestions:

1 pt per 25 yrds passing.
1 pt per 10 yards rushing/recieving.
-0 per sack.

Otherwise it's just going to be a touchdown league.  The person that lands this seaon's Priest Holmes would just steamroll.

Might want to add some more points for defensive stuff like blocked kicks, safeties, and points allowed unless you want to de-emphasize defense, which I have no problem with.  Defensive points got a tad nutty last year.

If I end up last in football, I may retire from fantasy sports for good. No, If it were for money, I would finish in the highest spot that didn't pay, also known as the bubble. Or more often, the FUCKING BUBBLE.

2 pay leagues last year, 2 4th place finishes (one by fractions of a point). I nearly hung myself.

Any chance of moving the draft date? Mondays are bad for me, and 8/8 is like a month before the season starts.

Sure, I can move the draft date. But then it'll be at 11am on a Friday or worse.

This was the only time I could get that was "primetime" for both east and west coast and hopefully ensure a larger percentage of people showing up for the draft compared to last year.

Most draft times are long gone.

There are no more times available before the start of the season that begin any time after 1pm Pacific. Weekends are pretty much gone completely.

I don't get it.  It's teh intarweb, it's stateless, how can there be a shortage of available time?

Why don't they just round robin it over a month, reply at your leisure sort of thing?

I dunno. Send a message to Yahoo and tell them they suck. Then fill out your draft rankings in case you miss the live draft.

I Need an Adult will be gunning for the bottom of the listings.  Since they didn't have a Bengals' helmet, I chose the other team that Paul Brown created.

Just reviewing the league stats, I would STRONGLY suggest leaving out weeks 17 and 18. They have been total crap the last 3 years with star players getting benched.

Yes, 8 teams. I'm trying to ensure myself a spot in the playoffs but after last year, I wish there was an option for all 16 teams to go to the post season.

Some suggestions:

Allow fractional points.  It has come down to this in some games.

8 playoff teams is too much.  That's over half the currently enrolled teams. That marginalizes the entire regular season.  6 team max (1 round bye for top 2).  4 would be better.  8 is just dumb though, don't be stubborn on this.

10 yrd/point for recieving yards.  We're going to be going awefully thin with a 14 team league and 3 WR slots to fill.

Speaking of thin, I'd almost it rather be 2 WR slots, 1 RB slot and one WR/RB slot. With the amount of players we've got going, finding quality players is going to be a massive whore of a job.

Yes on fractions.
Meh on playoff teams.

The scoring model I am most familar with (simplified)

6 points per touchdown (passing, receiving, or rushing)
10 yards/point for receiving/rushing yards
25 yards/point for passing yards

Most leagues use this type of scoring- you can tweak it by adding bonus points for long touchdowns, or long FGs, etc. One of my favorites is it add .5 points per reception- helps even out the gulf between the top 10 RBs and the top 10 WRs a bit.

Positions-
QB
RB
WR/RB
WR
WR
TE
D/ST
K

That is what I would like to see.
