I wouldn't like it. If you need massive drops to make it fun you don't like the game much

Do they have a general release date for 2.3 yet?

They're posting preview and "get familiar with 2.3" videos in the launcher, so I'm guessing it's not ready and they felt the need to appease the masses as it's delayed.

I haven't logged in for a few days because I'm bored with my seasonal character. I'm blowing through T4 stuff and I really don't like the way GR's are set up now that I know what they are heading towards. I want to be able to select my level (that should have been the obvious choice to begin with) rather than the stupid trials thing.

Also, I think the Nephelim rifts need a nerf. They take entirely too long compared to GR's when it comes to filling that bar.

Rifts just need more density of mobs, closer to Grifts.

On T5 I burn through rifts but spend time looking for them.

I think Blizzard has addressed the only issue I have with GRifts - the damn trial which killed it for me.

I still have a few set pieces over 4 seasonal characters I want to pick up but can't be bothered logging in to do it.

I don't know, I kinda like the density and spacing of rifts.  I can handle Torment 5 rifts, but can't handle Grift24's, and it's because I'm immune to poison, frost, fire, and spider webs, but arcane beams and lightning globes just kill me, and I can dance around the beams/globes in the rifts but the grift mob density just boxes me in (also, timer runs out).  But, it's Torment 5, there's still Torment 6 to upgrade to if 5 is too easy.

I believe rift spacing is to allow time to loot the chests and drops.  My last 3 drops (useless to me, but still legendary or set pieces for future alts) have been from continuing to clear out the rift area AFTER killing the guardian; guardian only dropped the crafting mats, whereas I got legendaries from the left-over mobs.

It depends a lot on what class you play.  For example, Barbarians would generally like every square inch of dungeon to be monster to sustain infinite fury.  My Barbarian does Torment 1 slower than Torment 6 because of lower density and less damage being taken, for example.

Monk; I need to generate spirit with basic attacks and health globes, and maintain a full stack of tornado dots (with crit attacks), so I think it's similar.  Although, I zip from group to group and gather them together with an aoe pull ability, which maybe the barbarians don't have.  Still, l like the current differentiation between bounties (sparse monsters on some world map), regular rifts (medium amount of monsters, typically indoor maps, not quite a timer bar), and grifts (wave upon wave spawning on top of you, no loot till the end, timer).

Maybe Blizzard can add a checkbox to give us the choice of increasing a. the HP/DPS of monsters, and/or b. the number of monsters.  Keep everyone happy.  I would definitely support having more choices for the increasing Torment ranks.

Typo: I put in T5, it's T6 that I can waltz through - Grift 32 is pretty good on monk/DH and the WD struggles - Grift 34 and the DH can just barely beat the timer but she and the monk struggle - the monk misses the timer by about 15 seconds. I lost a hardcore (undergeared) Crusader because I was smashing through trials but not watching the counter  (34) - leveled another but decided I didn't want to invest in HC anymore :D.  My warrior just bores me, I can't find a decent build and my mage would probably be better in a group.

I'm glad I came back to the game and am looking forward to S4 - I'm thinking Crusader -> DH -> WD -> Monk

Heh, monk is more fun than I thought possible.

Initially I was maxed out at Torment 5, with a lightning crit-based build that relied on exploding palm and a hammer that had a nasty aoe damage per hit, along with immunity to stun, freeze, and ground effects.

But eventually I got enough of the Inna monk armor set to try it, and it forced me away from that hammer, and from the immunities, in order to get the set bonus.  I have to say, Inna full bonus + the Sunwuko decoy + Crudest Boots + Gungdo Gear is just about the most awesome monk combination I've had the pleasure of playing.

Running around with 2 air clones that mirror my attacks and give 20 (+100) spirit recharge, a self-spreading Exploding Palm where 1 enemy infects all of them in range , and that awesome decoy on lashing tail kick... it's just crazy.   Broken Promises still gives me almost constant critting in the 10-25 million range, so I'm past Torment 6 at this point.
