Is Fallout: New Vegas worth $2.50?

You won't see it any lower.
I bought the Ultimate Edition.
It's basically the 'final' collection of DLCs ever released with the base game.
I wish more games would do this unlike fucking Sims 3

I finally crumbled, went in for Sanctum 2, HoMM VI and Remember Me.

Dont feel bad I crumbled too, I purchased Remember me, Borderlands 2+ season pass, My first Tomb Raider game, and Kerbal Space Program.

Decided that I'd never play Tomb Raider (I have all the others in the series - unfinished) so gave it a miss.

Did pick up 20 bucks worth of Borderlands 2 DLC. NFI why but good to see I'm still an impulse buyer :S

This is a strange sale. Looking at the Store frontpage you'd think only the listed ones are on sale, but if you actually go browse games (by genre for example) you'll find out that almost everything is 25-75% off until July 22nd.

This is how they do it every year.  For the length of the sale, most games are put on sale.  However, the daily deals cut the price of the selected games even more (so may go from 25% of to 66% or something).  Thats why its always best to wait till the games you want go on daily deal sale.  Only on the last day when all the daily sales are done should you then go out and buy games at their normal sale price.

It is true, though, that they are doing a better job this sale with hiding the non-special deal sale items than they usually do with their horrible UI. E.g. in previous sales publisher catalog sale bundles were predominately featured. Now I can't find any publisher catalog sales this time. I'm not sure if that's because there are no catalog sales or the horrible UI is hiding them better as mentioned above.

I actually like steams UI, never had any problems with it really.  What about it do you find horrible?

Publisher packs/bundles seem to be mostly missing this time, I noticed only two so far (Stardock -66%, Daedalic -75%).

A lot of stuff is -75% for the whole duration, those probably won't be discounted further in daily sales.

Shit, I almost forgot that they put the DLC cheap when the main game is. I didn't have any of the New Vegas DLC. Just got it all for $5.

Except that you don't know from that what is on flash or daily deal. Never buy a game during the steam sale unless it's on flash or daily deal.

Needs a tabbed interface.

As far as regular sale pricing, I'm with sickrubik; not concerned about it until the final sale day. Then I'll poke around and see what didn't make dailies or flashes.

Yeah, I just don't understand that. When I saw Monaco in voting I made sure to check back to grab it on the cheap, only to find that it lost... I guess you should never underestimate the sheer numbers of "shooters only" gamers.

I use the Pixelvision skin; it kinda cleans the UI up IMO.

I still have a back log long enough to avoid something like Dishonored, but yeah, otherwise today seems meh. Reus seems to get a lot of interest, but I hadn't even heard about it until now.

Fallout: New Vegas is one of my favourite games ever!  And I think I laughed more playing that game than any other.  I miss laughing.

I have not yet bought anything mostly because I keep forgetting to look and when I do I can't decide.  Don't know if I should get Borderlands 2 for the pc.  I played it on xBox but didn't have all (maybe not even most) of the DLC.

I think I might be wishy washy.  :(

I've spent more than I expected to during this sale (but less than I allotted, thankfully). I'm up around $75 spent already, just picking up;

- Dishonoured
- Dust: Elysian Tale
- DLC for New Vegas
- Tomb Raider (and some DLC, I think)
- Eador: Broken World
- Sleeping Dogs (and some DLC)
- Torchlight 2
- Ys 1 & 2
- Just Cause 2
- Fallout 3 and its DLC
- Universe Sandbox

Think I'm pretty much done. I can't think of anything else that might come on sale that I'd even want to buy or don't already have. I have made about $6 back in selling duplicate cards, though.

Just filling out some games that I've been wanting to play but probably won't and some DLC while its on sale:

Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon $7
Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate $5
Mirror's Edge $6
Bioshock Infinite $30
Civ5 Gold DLC $5
Dishononred Knife of Dunwall DLC $3.50
BL2 Tiny Tina's Assault DLC $3.50

Been good so far, but I picked up a bunch of stuff during the winter that I haven't even touched so I'm being a little more restrained this time around.

Look at all these games!?!  We used to have to go searching for good games to play and now they grow on game bushes or something.  I don't know if I'm happy or alarmed.

I've been a good lad so far and purchased only what I originally planned, and that is The Cave and The Walking Dead. I also planned to buy Kerbal Space program (still have a bit of time for that) and probably the Knife of Dunwall DLC and Slinghost DLC for X-com and that's it, sigh.

On the other hand, given how great Crusader Kings II was, I'll probably purchase Europa Universalis IV (and Day1 dlc) at full price when it's released in August, so I'll save for that.

Finally, I read somewhere that "You need a budget 4" was on sale a couple days ago? I might purchase it if there's going to be another sale.
