Is the Saint's Row 3's season pass worth it?

If it's cheap I'd say yes, some of the add-on content was well done.

So far: Defiance, Dragonborn, and just now Civ5 BNW. Knew I was being smart in waiting a week for that.

Need some people to chime in on if Defiance is worth it or not.

For ~$10 it's worth a look if you feel like trying a pretty average 3rd person shooter with no cover system but in a world with other people and random events.

Dunno yet. Fiddled with it for two hours last night. Its an actual MMO shooter. The animations look like I'm running with a load a crap in my pants. No real shortcut bar combat at all that I can see so far. You get a power, two gun slots, grenades, and a melee attack. Improve your power or add perks to it as you level. Standard MMO style loot.

Seems like I shouldn't have a hard time getting $12 worth of enjoyment out of it.

Whoever animated Nolan's character put his eyes too close together. Looks creepy.

It would be nice if they would add upgrade pricing ala Civ V => Civ V Gold for more games. I'd upgrade my Skyrim, but I'm not buying it over again or stacking the DLC that high.

Yeah, they need to improve their DLC handling.  If I have the season pass for something in the cart, it shouldn't be allowing me to add the individual DLCs included in the pass, or at least provide a warning or something

I agree, I'm wary of buying the SR3 DLC because I have no idea what's in there.

Yay! nothing I have to buy today!

Anyone who hasn't played Just Cause 2 would be silly not to get it for $3
Even just messing around with the grappling hook for a couple hours is worth that.

Yesterday's daily deals are still available and today's are good for 48 hours.  I don't seem to remember them doing that before but then my memory sucks.

They are really holding on to that Farcry 3 price.

Maybe in a year they'll be willing to sell for $15.

I wonder if GTA IV on PC is worth $5. Also, is Just Cause 2 any good?

Just Cause 2 will be one of the best purchases you make.

Just Cause 2 is a must-own imo. Arnold Schwarzenegger action movie meets Spiderman.

I vote yes for GTA IV because I have hundreds of hours out of it and like the grittier tone (and GTA V pc won't be out for at least another year)

Sleeping Dogs really looks like it is geared towards console play, how is it on the PC?

I liked it and it played well for the most part on the PC. The problem is that driving is kind of shit in games like Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row (though there are usually mods to help improve it). It has some fun melee though (even as a kb/m user), my biggest complaint though was that the Sleeping Dogs mod community is nothing like SR though and is pretty bare last I checked.

Picked up Sleeping Dogs for my first purchase of the sale -- is any of the DLC worthwhile?

Considered Anno 2070.. but I remember all sorts of stories of DRM and shit and.. only 50% off? Pass, but maybe I'd have impulse bought it at 66% off.

The Dragon Master Pack is worth it, almost game breaking though as the outfit reduces too much damage imo

Sleeping Dogs is a really solid open-world GTA-alike. I bought a bunch of the DLC, the cop one is the one I leaned on most early on. 50% damage reduction suit and cop car in the garage (and you can pull a shotgun out of the trunk with a perk, iirc).

I use a 360 gamepad for any game like this.

Got the Gaige & Krieg BL2 DLC, nice to finally see them on sale.

Went to get Just Cause 2, although I already have it on the PS3, and discovered I already have the Steam version too. Must've picked it up in a previous sale  awesome, for real

And damn you all, I just got Sleeping Dogs and the Dragon Master DLC too!

I don't see a dragon master pack.

Its below the DLC pack list and is basically just a collection of five of the DLCs and, I think slightly cheaper bought as this pack.

Tropico 4 on Flash sale for the next 3+ hours. I am thinking of picking it up.  Is the DLC worth the extra couple of bucks?

Depends on what you use and how you play.  I would say that all of the buildings help a lot.  The outfits and dictator traits are personal style and flair.  If you play with Modern Times you're effectively cheating anyways, so yeah  why so serious?
