They do.  I don't think that will save Richt's job though.

Our AD will never fire him unless UGA goes 6-7 again. We simply don't have access to better options at the head coaching position with other SEC teams taking all the good ones over the last 5 years.

How about now?   Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

Now?   why so serious?

Awesome game Bulldogs, but Murray did NOT cross the goal line before his knee went down.  Auburn burned by refs bad call.  Shame an epic game is spoiled by a bad call.

Edit:  I may have been mistaken.

Unreal play by Auburn.

Unreal play by Auburn.

Football gods were not amused by the TD call for Murray. I wasn't sure we got it, they were sure to give it back.

Now I have to find a bridge.

Pro-tip: If it is fourth down and you are a DB, don't flip the ball upwards.

Yeah they teach you that in middle school. This is another glaring reason our defensive coordinator isn't coaching these guys at all. We had all the time in the world to talk about it before the series, and the only thing that should be said in that scenario is knock it down.

Nope, we won't fire him, no matter how much I want them to. He's going to get a free pass over injuries.

I am kinda curious as to when the drums begin to rumble for Les Miles's head in Baton Rouge. I'd say if next season plays out like this one, that it will start at least.

Two more years assuming LSU wins 7 games or more in that time. If other coaches are any indication, getting to a national title game, and having a national title ring gets you a full 4 years before things go wrong. Unless you miss a bowl.

If they get embarassed again in whatever bowl they get this year, then I'd say next year will be his swan song. As much as I like the man, he hasn't won anything with his own players.

Your Kentucky score is way off. We play them close no matter how bad they are. They only won by 5 points last year and Kentucky went 0-8 in the SEC.

I mean I don't understand how Ohio State can even logically consider themselves important enough to play. I mean look at this schedule. At best, their signature win will be the Wisconsin game in the regular season. They know their conference has been awful for years, and they scheduled 3 games against cupcakes, and another against a Cal team that hasn't been good in years. If you want to get taken seriously, you can't do that. If you know you're not facing many ranked teams in your division, you can't do that. The only game that matters for them now is the Michigan State game, and they need to hope that Michigan State doesn't drop a game to Northwestern or Minnesota (who has been upsetting people), because that shoots that ranking in the foot.

Buffalo 7-3 MAC
San Diego State 6-4 MWC
California 1-10 PAC12
Florida A&M 3-8 MEAC

Wisconsin 8-2 currently #19
Northwestern 4-6 currently unranked
Iowa 6-4 unranked
Penn State 6-4 unranked
Purdue 1-9 obviously unranked
Illinois 3-7 obviously unranked

Indiana
Michigan
Championship: Michigan State currently #13

Even better when Meyer starts bitching about it, when in fact it worked in his favor in Florida. Go figure...  why so serious?

Meyer's a dickbag. He walks into the biggest jobs that can push people around, and then leaves the second things get tough. He'll do the same thing at Ohio State when they fall off or the Big 10 catches up.

There was something fishy about his Florida exit, for sure.  I'm thinking that he got a tip off that they were going to shitcan Tressel or something.  I don't really mind him as a coach because he offers entertainment.  His teams are good and he is a hell of a crybaby, which is always interesting.

In the 9 years before the first game of our home and away with Ohio State, we won 5 bowl games and made several appearances in the AP top 10, you can't fault them for scheduling us at least, because they did it YEARS ago.

No offense because I didn't mean it as a shot at Cal, but your last 9 win season was 2008. The last time you finished ranked was 2006. I have no idea when they scheduled it, but since 2009 there's been ample time to realize it was a bad idea if you wanted a serious opponent. They don't, that's my point. They want to rest on some imagined laurels of being THEOHIOSTATE, but that has meant exactly jack and shit since 2002, and even less if you go back further to their one before that in 1970.

They have an inflated sense of power because they are one of the only schools in the north with a recruiting base in their state.

Cal was okay to schedule.  At least they're FBS.  The rest of them are even more suspect.

It was okay. They still could have gotten out of it if they wanted, but you can't always predict a team is going to shit on the field the year you play them.

But yeah, 3 cupcakes? You can do that if you have several division rivals or conference games that are ranked. Otherwise? No.

Well, keep in mind without the 234 missed field goals, we would have beat them last year - trying to weasel out of the away part of the home and away would have been awfully suspect looking after that. I believe this game was scheduled sometime in the 2006-2008 time frame, it's been on the calendar for a really long time.

That would be semi-hilarious. I want to go further. What happens if you get famous Jameis arrested for rape and suspended, and Baylor wins out? Now, you potentially have a QB-less FSU team playing Baylor in the NCG.
