Holy crap!  That site has some good deals right now.  I just bought XCom with the code for $22.49.

The Walking Dead (PC)  $12.49

Torchlight II (PC)  $9.99

Left 4 Dead 2 (PC)  $4.99

Battlefield 3 (PC)  $13.99

XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PC)  $24.99

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (PC)  $4.99

Max Payne 3 (PC) $14.99

Grand Theft Auto IV (PC)  $4.99

Total War: SHOGUN 2 (PC)  $7.49

Torchlight 2  $9.99

and...

Kingdoms of Amalur  $11.99

Lots of other games on sale, too.  This easily rivals anything Steam has for sale.

Also not available in Hungary (surprise).

e: actually, isn't gamefly a reincarnation of D2D? I'm kinda pissed at them since I lost all my previously-purchased games when they switched. Oh well. There Is Only ZuulSteam.  why so serious?

I think it is.  I've never bought anything from Gamefly before but did use D2D a few years ago.  When I went to create a new account, it said the email I used already belonged to a previous account.  I did the password recovery thing and it worked.  It even had my first name in the "Welcome <insert name here>" on the page once I was logged in.

Gamefly bought D2D from IGn, yes. Gamefly existed before that as just a rental system like Netflix.

Ended up getting Sleepy Dawgs and Anno from that Gamefly place. I figured 10 euros is cheap enough to put up with the DRM. I'll let you know if I break out in a rash.

Haven't seen much this time around that really got me reaching for the credit card. Grabbed Binary Domain, largely because of the radicalthon rk47 did on it. Considered Anno 2070.. but DRM and I dislike Uplay from what I've seen of it since I grabbed Assassin's Creed 2 during the last big sale. Only two games I went into the sale thinking about grabbing were Max Payne 3 and Dishonoured.. but neither is cheap enough to warrant sitting on my hard drive un-played for 5-6 months as I work through my backlog of Steam games while also re-playing old games.

My wallet has been lucky this year. Between GOG, Steam, and HIB7, I've spent very little. Pulled the trigger on the Warhammer 40k franchise. I was thinking about it last year, but finally bought it this year. Looks like I'll have some fun with it even though I suck at RTS. I keep thinking about getting Amnesia, but I can't even play through the damn demo before I nope myself back to the desktop.

I was drinking when I wrote this, so sue me if it goes astray.

They gave free beta access to a lot of people.  It's still beta I think, this is just forcing your way in.

Turned out my copy is a spectator-only client. How nice.  Ohhhhh, I see.

By now you guys would be familiar with the non-NA contingient of us bitching about "not available in your region" on Steam Sales. Guess what's not available in my AU region from today's sales!

A moderator on the Steam forums says 'they are looking into why' so it seems to be a mistake for some reason.  The valve packs normally get messed up by the uncensored version of L4D2 but this seems really odd.

Well, I've got both games, and they're on sale pretty regularly, so it's much more  Head scratch  awesome, for real than RAEG.

Was cheaper at Gamefly with the code Ragna passed around. I got it for $26 something yesterday for the daughter.

Thanks for that code, Ragnarok.

I'm guessing the steam DLC won't work with the GF game when I download it. Ah well.

I'm pretty sure Skyrim requires Steam for download whether you got it at Gamefly or not - it's a Steamworks game. So yeah, you can get the DLC (*insert RTFM disclaimer - but it does say "requires internet access for Steam activation")

I just got the DLC - that's all I wanted.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

Steam DLC should work just fine with GF games - from the gamefly page:
Quote
Requires internet access for Steam activation.

The base game is cheaper at GF and GMG when using coupons. The DLC is cheaper at steam (even after coupons). When buying the game and DLC together it comes out cheaper at steam. The cheapest to get everything is core game at GF and DLC at Steam, it comes to $39 for everything. Normally that is "only" $3 savings - but during holiday game sales that is 1-2 more games  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

Interesting.  It made me DL the gamefly client instead of sending me a steam code so I was confused.  I haven't installed it yet since it goes on her & her mom's machine, not mine. Thanks!

Grabbed both Skyrim DLCs, even though I don't really have time to get back into it right now, because 50% off. Maybe once Dragonborn hits PC (which should be in about 2 weeks) I'll fire it up again.

The Steam key is $14.99 on Amazon.com.

Amazon seems to be matching or beating Steam's daily deal prices pretty regularly. XCOM is $24.99, Borderlands 2 is $29.99, and Guild Wars 2 is also half-off ($29.99).
