I'd say Natural Selection 2 is easily worth 10 bucks if you like team based shooters.

Picked up Batman AA and AC, even though it's just adding to my backlog. Still, 75%, maaaaaan!

I also like the "We are sorry. This game is not available in your region" publisher pack. Fuck you Bethesda, fuck you very much.
(background: Bethesda cut an exclusive deal with cenega for eastern european distro, so we can't buy / get gifts of Bethesda games on steam. Have to wait for the shitty localization and buy them in shops... sigh.)

When I'm in the UK, I use a proxy to get my games (including Steam) and watch TV.  It's how I kept up with Supernatural, Alphas and my DLC stuff.  Now my PS3 lives in London and all it's games are American.  Something got a wee tiny bit buggered up with that, but I'm starting a new American collection of games on my new American console.  I can't stop saying American.  :(
I used to do the proxy thing, but I can't be bothered anymore (would need to use a proxy every time I launched the game). Especially since apparently you can get your account nuked if they catch you doing it...

Voted for Monkey Island but haven't bought it yet. I hear it's good but at the rate I'm playing games not named SWToR I wouldn't get around to playing it until this time next year. Might as well wait for the next sale lol.

At 5 bucks/quid/euro, they are practically forcing me to buy Deus X: Human Revolution.  Assholes.

It is worth a fiver, no?

For sure.

Barring impulse buys I think the only thing I'd like to see would be the Borderlands 2 DLC on offer, but I think that's unlikely.

I want the first Bioshock and Borderlands 2, but I'm so broke I look at that 40 bucks and wonder if I'm going to be wanting that cash next week. :P

It was worth it at full price.  Grab it while you can.

Thinking of getting I Am Alive for $5.  The premise looks interesting but the reviews are pretty mediocre.  Has anyone played this?

I don't think so during this sale. It's a daily deal on a month old game of a somewhat popular series, so that is probably the lowest it will go. Daily deals/flash sales seem to be okay, everything else wait until the last day

I bought the Deus Ex HR game, for $5 who cares?

New Daily deals: Fear, Psychonauts, Dishonored, Tom Clancey, Darksiders, and Sim City 4.

I'm certainly considering Dishonored for $30, but not sold due to it's length.

Yeah, Dishonored at $30 makes me cautious with the length. If the Bethseda package goes on sale I'll pick that up then since I also want Skyrim anyways

Darksiders 2 Franchise Pack for $13.59 is pretty damn nice for those who own most of the THQ pack but don't own DS2

I thought dishonored was absolutely worth the money at $40 when I bought it.  It's a good game, and actually has a fairly decent length if you're an explorer, and does have some replayability.  Think my first run took around 20 hours because I went looking for everything.

I don't really care about the minor price differences, given the value add of Steam itself.

I tried it one weekend at work, while I was bored.  It was pretty standard f2p web game fare.

On what games?

Basically anything that they are both offering, Amazon is offering for less. Hitman Absolution? Steam = $25, Amazon = $20. Darksiders franchise pack? Steam = $13.60, Amazon = $13.10. Doublefine bundle? Steam = $10, Amazon = $7.50.

Edit: Looks like the Steam doublefine bundle comes with Iron Brigade, so it's not exactly a case of Amazon having the better price.

It's a bit like Herzog Zwei. (The devs posted that it was one of their inspirations.) I liked it well enough, and played it for a few months. F2P so you're not out any money for trying.

What do you mean by this? Every game I've bought (well, every digital download) from Amazon I dl'd from Steam.

Having now looked at Dishonored, I think I might pick that up. And probably Xcom (it says the holiday sale, 25% off, goes through 5-Jan, so not much hope of anything lower, methinks).

IF people are looking at Bioshock, Amazon has a Bioshock 1 & 2 Pack for $5.

I think it won't go lower than 50% (too early for 60 or 75, not to mention a base price drop), but it's highly possible that they will put it on sale again in the final couple days (usually reserved for the most wanted titles), if you're still on the fence.

Hold off on xcom. Basically everything is on sale for 25% or more right now as a basic price, then daily deals/flash sales are lower prices if they get one. Xcom will probably hit 30-40% off if they do a sale would be my guess

Unfortunately for me and other Canadians, we can't use amazon.com.  We have to use amazon.ca, on which I don't see the same deals anywhere.

Anyway, I just picked up Dishonored, Orcs Must Die 2 and Forge from Steam.

If anyone ever wants to see a horrible, if short, and possibly overly racist and politically incorrect RPG come out of f13, nows your chance to buy me a copy of RPG Maker. Just saying.

Edit: I don't actually promise delivery of anything, but hey, if I get a bug up my ass something might appear.

Edit 2: This is something I'd never buy myself.
