The Cosmic versions of Midtown and ICPatrol are only for L60 players who are well geared and don't mind being horribly murdered over and over.
Speaking of cosmic, did it get a nerf? I've been using Juggs to do the rep missions the last few days and he's not dying the way Hulk and Surfer were a few weeks ago. I know my Surfer is better-geared; thus my suspicion of a nerf. Most top tier heroes can do cosmic terminals as a fresh 60. I found that includes Hulk so long as you don't go straight to a raid build. If necessary use the middle tree punch that heals for your main attack and you are close to invulnerable. I could be completely wrong, but don't get the impression that the filler attack is the major dps factor anyway. |

Well I don't like his health regen, and I can't keep Clobberin Time up, unlike Thor's secondary resource which I can keep up forever. I still think he has spirit issues. The point though is that none of that matters when using Mr. Fantastic. I went into CMM and killed solo bosses like Mole Man in one go of that power. edit: oh well it was fun while it lasted. I just downloaded the new build and that ability only does about 100k twice per second. Before the new patch it was doing 3 million 2x/s . So much lulz |

I haven't been on test, but I've had a brief look at Things rework and it just doesn't look 'right' to me.
But since I'm the utter cunt that keeps complaining about samey heroes that are big and strong and punch, maybe I should shut my yap.

If CMM is a good place to test I have to say I dislike the new iteration of Thing. W/O that overpowered ability he has just about the worst "survivability" of any geared hero I have. (and that's with 55+% crit and 55+ brut). He needs more health regen, or Clobberin time needs to work more like the Hulk's anger.

Oh yeah, they did change legion to only go up to five ranks. Not a huge nerf because of the increasing costs making the last five points worth way less than the first five.

Doom might just rival him. I haven't tried summoner Iceman or Doom since last weekend, but Doom was crazy. Someone yesterday in chat gave me a brilliant idea. A whole two inventory stacks cleared out just for Midtown boxes that I'm going to open on Doom once I hit 60 this weekend. That should be of great assistance. |

4 weeks from now? Nah, I enjoy leveling characters more than I do the daily bullshit and I've never done a raid. I'll use that bonus to push a few I dislike (like Colossus.. what a chore HE is, but.. physical damage) to 50 or from 50 to 60. |

As far as I can tell - the free hero is live now.
They've made every hero except Doom a starter hero, so you can now play everyone till level 10, and opened up the 'uncap button' again.

This patch has so much love in it.
Thing is actually fun. All the heroes are unlocked. There seems to be a raft of cosmetic wee changes that I like. And on and on.
I like.
It's also fairly amusing to see all the Dooms.
