Strangely, Iron Man came up, but not with a code.

Not sure why.

Have we confirmed you can't use multiple codes?

Punisher is rather fun, though I really wish some guidance on a non-spirit hero was available anywhere.  Even the Punisher forums are light on how the mechanic actually works and how it works with 'spirity' type things.  Is it worth a RoS for example ?  Or will that not help ?

The only spirit affixes that work on punisher afaik are +spirit (which increases max ammo) and power cost reduction, which does not reduce power cost, but instead reduces reload cooldown time.

Ideally you want to get power cost reduction to about 30% so reload comes off cooldown before you run out of ammo and are forced to use a basic. Or at the least, reach the point where you can bridge the gap with Magnum or Davy Crockett. Magneto medallion is a priority item that gets you most of the way there.

One important mechanic to remember is that if you have at least one ammo, you can use any ammo power you like, even if it costs more than your available ammo. I presume this is why 'gain ammo' affixes are disabled.  It is also key to getting best value from the various bonuses for being <25% ammo.

River of soul will not give 6 ammo on hit, but the rest will work. I would go with something else.

Read through the Rapid Reload tooltip carefully, it covers most of this,  also, when you get your slot 3 unique (whole 9 yards), read that carefully too, I was playing punisher at good bit below potential till I noticed all the detail in there. But was still able to clear cosmic terminals as a fresh 60.

Most important powers when levelling are reload, full auto, headshot, obviously the signature, and to a lesser extent, burst fire, grenade and rpg (all 3 are much more important once above 42). Don't touch the dual SMGs, they eat ammo and you need various munchkin shit to make them work. At 42 you pick between minigun and flamethrower as mutally exclusive powers with buffs, most people put 1 point in the minigun.

Basically how I believe it works is + spirit increases your maximum ammo number so the amount you burn through before having to reload. The spirit regen turns into I believe a cool down reduction on how fast your recharge ability comes back. I believe that cool down can be cut in half by gear it used to not be capped but that was super crazy.  In general basically I found myself just taking the stuff that increases ammo to the point where I could do my normal rotation and have recharge coming back right as I go out of ammo. If you can ride that its non stop guns blazing and is pretty fun. I find magnum is nice because if you take old painless specialization when you are close to or out of ammo the magnums 6 shots do amplified damage and it buys you time for recharge to come back if you burn your ammo a bit quicker than anticipated.

Not quite.

Spirit regen does nothing, ammo cost reduction reduces the cooldown.

In most cases power cost reduction is better than +ammo, this is because Rapid Reload adds up to 800 damage when used below 25% ammo, and resets the cooldown on headshot etc, and adds 500 crit and brutal strike once you have your uniques.

The ideal rotation goes something like...

 Grenade
 Davy Crockett
 Headshot
 Rocket
 Rapid Reload
REPEAT
    Headshot
    Rocket
Burst Fire to 25% Ammo (or Full Auto if there is trash to clear around the boss)
    Magnum x 6
    Headshot
    Rocket
    Rapid Reload
UNTIL Everything=Dead

In ideal circumstances you want the last magnum round to be exactly 8 seconds after headshot, that way you get close to a 4 to 5 second headshot average. You actually lose dps if you have more ammo than necessary for this.

I've only been playing steadily for a few weeks now, so I have no idea what this statement means.  Translation?

My first shard unlock was Punisher and I was very disappointed because I wasn't interested in playing him at all.  The comments here make him sound pretty interesting now, so thanks guys!

Just cosmic a character you're okay with never having at cap again. Scarlet Witch took me like 6 months and still felt grindy as fuck, but it was all pre-rework and she was useless at cap anyway so I never regretted it.

Well the only reason I'm doing it is to work towards the ten cosmic characters title in the first place.  So far it's not so bad, but this crazy exp ends tomorrow.

The "kill 10000 members of aim" achieve rewards a personal aim robot dispenser, which atm comes with guaranteed max stats (535 physical/energy DR and 192 CR). Normally its a place holder artifact, but the guaranteed max roll makes it pretty boss.  Not sure if that is intended or not, none of the other personal artifact from achieves behave that way.  Doesn't even take very long running MODOK term.

The only char I have I'll likely cosmic is Ms. Marvel, and the journey from 1-47 to reach Crashdown Strike is going to be hell. She's at OJ prestige right now and I'm reluctant to push her to Red because I know I'll have to go all the way at that point. I still need to get X-23 to Red and Squirrel Girl to OJ before then, anyway.

And Rogue to Green... and Scarlet Witch to Red... gods what is wrong with me  ACK!

Absolutely nothing.  You're color coordinating.  I'd do it if I was playing more and didn't have a billion heroes left to level.

I started prestiging a while back. Some characters are just a lot of fun to play through more than once, really. I like Ms. Marvel a lot, though I wish Crashdown Strike wasn't a L47 skill. Of all the chars I have prestiged, Squirrel Girl has easily been the most fun. I still have loads of characters under 60 that I don't have much of a feel for.

And some I do have a feel for I associate with white or black so I can't prestige them anyway...  headache

^ This is true for me too as I never understood anyone prestiging. Now though, with max omega and all heroes at 60, and only 3-4 of us in my SG can do Axis, the remaining options are endlessly farm for artifacts or prestige. Leveling is still slow enough that I won't do it outside of the last 2-3 days of the omega event.

Why ?

Mechanic is that it happens when you drop out of combat for some number of seconds.

I don't really know why they made that choice. It is generally disadvantageous, ideally you want to begin combat at 25%ish, so you can headshot then reload with the buffs, then headshot again.
