If anyone's looking for  a match tonight, let me know.  I'll be online until about midnight North American Mountain standard time.  I'm anxious to play my new skaven team against a human opponent.

I played Ginaz in the end and it was amusing.

He bashed me up first half (never mind that I was Nurgle) and scored, then I managed to get him down to one player on the pitch in the second and get the tie.

All KOs however. He managed to hurt two of my rotters (niggling and -mv) and also hurt a couple of his on failed dodges, but I didn't get a single casualty though I broke armor 24 times.

Nurgle can be fun, but I don't see the value in picking them over Chaos really. Slower and more expensive doesn't really get outdone by regen and the ability to disrupt a passing game. Especially when most passing teams can dodge for fun. You don't get to play with mutations as much as you pretty much have to skill your Prestigors to blitz and ball handle and the Warriors to roadblock. I remain underwhelmed.

That was the first time I played as skaven vs. a human opponent.  Much different than playing as undead.  I got bashed up pretty good at the end, but with only one player left on the field I still managed to get a blitz in on one of his last turns.  If I had of been able to knock the ball out it would have probably stayed 1-0.  My thrower  ended up with -1 AV and two of my players are out for the next match but overall it was a fun game and showed me the strengths, and weaknesses, of a skaven team.

You can't dodge if a Beast of Nurgle is tentacling you.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly? And you don't just disrupt passing. You disrupt handoffs. This means that whoever has the ball is most likely stuck with it. And Nurgle Warriors make the best damn roadblocks in the game. When an opposing team blitz fails because they rolled a 1 on their Foul Appearance roll you have to smile.

I really, really like the Nurgle team, warts and all. If I could get six beastmen on the roster I'd be ecstatic as that is the main weakness of the team, but you make do with what you have.

If anyone is looking for a feeder league game today, hit me up.

Applied with a new team.

I've been meaning to try an all-beast Chaos team for a while now as it's one of the few themed teams you can make that is actually viable. The Militant Vegans are ready to punch all you meat-eaters in the face.

Given Falc is going overseas soon, and that he is out of the finals and in RIFT instead ( awesome, for real) can we have someone else around to add teams to the feeder league and like? I expect a few people will want to fool around with some other teams before the next season.

(Also, verify league results Falc! I want to fail to roll doubles again...)

Played a couple of matchs last night with Strazos and Lamaros with my lizardman team.  Strazos' goblin team was...interesting to play against.  So many weird player types, and I think their cheerleaders were standing on squigs. awesome, for real  That ended up being a 1-1 draw I probably should have won that one but I made some stupid mistakes and he used the special features of the goblin team well (like throwing a goblin right onto my ball carrier and forcing a fumble close to his goal line).  I might try a goblin team one day just for pure comedy.  I got a kind of a frustrating 1-0 win against Lamaros' Vampire team, mostly due to my skinks inability to pick up the damn ball with their stone hands.  Probably could have scored 2 or 3 if they could have just picked up the ball when I needed them to.  On the plus side, my Saurus' and Kroxigor curb stomped his vampires and thralls.  Once my big guys get some skills they're going to be pretty tough.

After playing the lizardman team I think I'm going to be using them in S4 instead of my Undead team from S3.  MUCH more fun to play and I think I'll do better with them in S4 now that I have a good idea how to play them.

By goblins, I assume you mean Vampires?  why so serious?

Just swapped my team with Lamaros'.

Edit: So I had 10 knockdowns to Ginaz's 9 (+4 tackles).

I broke armor twice, resulting in 2 stuns.

Ginaz broke armor 11 times for 1 KO and 4 CAS. Pretty funny, even if some of those were red skulls from me getting desperate.

I already have a pony-themed Norse team, no stealin'! Pranceglitter Hoofwind will be oh so disappointed in you.

Instead, you should name your players after common household appliances.

No. Feeders can be eligible for Main. But Main can only get frozen, can't join anything. And you can only join Feeder if have zero matches played anywhere (100% New Team).
