I just applied with my skaven and chaos team, i've only played the AI so far so i'd love to play a real opponent in the near future.

Join the f13 BloodBowl group on Steam.  That'll give you friend contact info for all of us.  At that point, just hit us up whenever :)

If I'm on Steam I'm up for a game.  Chaos is my favorite side too so I can give you some pretty good tips; hopefully without looking pretentious.

Had 2 games with Mr Satael with my fresh Nurgle vs his Orcs.

Drew the first game 1-1 which is a funny game of bad luck for both playeres.

The 2nd game Satael won 2-0 taking advantage of the opportunities. Looking forward to playing more Feeder games with anyone!

Around for more feeder league games again this weekend (if I'm on steam then I'm interested in playing, even if I'm playing CK2)

Around for more feeder league games again this weekend (if I'm on steam then I'm interested in playing, even if I'm playing CK2)

Had another entertaining game (somewhat more entertaining for me) with DOOF DOOF HOUSE OGRES playing Satael's slowly skilling Orcs...

It was a bloody opening with Satael losing a catching goblin with Smashed collarbone. Satael decided to spend the apothecary but he ended up drilling a hole into his heart and killing him instead of mending the broken bone. A couple of turns later His Accurate thrower was killed by Fred FACESMASHER. The first half ended with a 1 - 0 score of the Ogres.

2nd Half was a bit more even but the Ogres did their job for most of their half KOing Orcs left and right. Satael got some revenge back killing a loner snotling and breaking another's back. The other notable event was all 4 ogres boneheading while listen to some sick Dubstep but the Orcs were very wary of getting their heads bashed in by their House listening bigger cousins.

DOOF DOOF Scores their first win!

Sorry about the permanent injuries Satael, You can kill some nurgles next time!

I played Ingmar's Orcs this evening with my rookie Amazons and the result wasn't really representative of the game at all.

I kicked into pouring rain and the Orcs decided to give the ball back by throwing it into my half attached to a Goblin. Unfortunately for the little guy the Troll was feeling peckish and the Goblin just about managed to wriggle free before he was devoured. He landed badly though and spilt the ball which scattered to the edge of the Orc scrum. I blew a fireball on the Orc front line to no great effect and then made a mistake moving someone when I intended to blitz with them instead. I tried to recover by throwing a 1d block to clear the route to the ball that the blitz should have opened but rolled a skull which rerolled to a second skull and the Orcs were able to recover and cage up properly with no more fear of my Wizard. There were a few more turns of pushing and shoving until the Orcs decided that playing like Elves was the way forwards and threw the ball downfield to their waiting Goblin. Unfortunately the Amazons were nimble enough to intercept. They threw it back over the heads of the Orcs to a catcher deep in the Orc half but the throw was wide although it bounced out of reach of any of the Orcs. The Orcs blitzed the catcher who was in range of both the ball and the Orcish endzone but only got a push and the next turn she dodged past the Orc marking her, picked up the ball and made two GFIs to cross the line and open the scoring.

We set up again and the Orcs decided to keep trying to be Elves despite the rain and spilled another catch. With only two turns left to play, the Amazons concentrated on mugging any Orcs in scoring range rather than contesting the ball directly. The half ended with the Orcs failing another catch while trying for some quick SPPs.

The second half started poorly for the Amazons. Firstly a pitch invasion took down three of the girls and only one Orc, then the very first action was a block that came up skulls rerolled to skulls. In their second turn their first action was to pick the ball up that failed after burning another reroll and then in their third turn they again failed to pick the ball up with their last reroll. By this time the Orcs had pushed through the Amazon lines and had players on the ball. They knocked over the inept Amazon thrower and successfully grabbed the ball before setting off for the endzone. Unfortunately the Orc with the ball over-extended himself somewhat and slipped in the endzone. The crowd threw the ball back in close to a gaggle of Amazons in their own half and they were able to get to it and throw it to a waiting catcher. The throw wasn't straight and it landed on a different Amazon who fluffed the catch and knocked it into the hands of the catcher who'd been the original target. Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, she trotted off towards the Orcish endzone as far as she could and out of reach of any of the Orcs before walking it over the line in her next turn.

For the last drive of the game, the Orcs attempted to score by throwing their Goblin with the ball at my endzone. The Troll wasn't hungry, the throw was good, the scatter was in the right direction but the Goblin didn't manage to land on his feet and dropped the ball. The Amazons swooped on the ball and failed to pick it up, then failed again in their next turn as well. Finally in their last turn of the game, they picked it up and threw it out of danger to deny the Orcs a consolation TD.

Ingmar couldn't get anything more than a KO on the girls despite a good number of knockdowns and, while my ball handling was pretty dire, it fell out right when it really mattered.

New Dwarf team is off to a fair start.  I severely underestimated Lamaros' Chaos team (didn't realize it was his H&H team fully decked out in Claw/MB/Multi-Arm/Two-Heads, but managed to down his Minotaur with a casualty with a Slayer, who was also subsequently MNG'd, but picked up the MVP and leveled up.  The rest of the match went as one could imagine; Beasts beat down the dwarfs like nobody's business.  I mean seriously...I had maybe 5 dwarfs standing by the end of the game.

The Dwarfs had a much fairer time against Satael's fresh Wood Elf team.  Elfish BS managed to keep the dwarf cage held back for a good chunk of the first half, but a bad GFI with no RRs left at turn 7 allowed me clear up a hole for my Runner to move up, pass off to a Blitzer and land the TD.

The Wood Elfs came back in the second half, punching a hole through my side and evading my sole blitzer's attempts to bring 'em down.  The Wodd Elfs scored, but no before having some players crowd-surfed or injured off the field.

With the score tied and 4 turns remaining, the Dwarfs received the ball from a generous kick to my center and began driving up the pitch right down the center.  With limited Elf-power on the field, the Dwarfs managed to plow a cage down the field much better than at the start, and by turn 15, with all of the Elfs lying in the injury box, KO box, or prone/stunned on the pitch, the Dwarfs ran it in again for their first victory.  Sadly, the merc that was provided to fill my MNG'd Slayer got the MVP  Argh!
