It's worked out that my replacement guy won't have the same exact name (I am on my third loser werewolf in that position, it's apparently cursed) but if that position is replaced a THIRD time, who knows?

I recycle names if I'm out of things that fit the theme.

Well, the themed teams are more fun, as you are well aware.  Pointy Hat Squad and Burrowing Beetles were unfortunately made before I figured that out.

I still dunno what to do when/if I get another catcher to replace poor dead Starbuck.  Starbuck II?  Or just recycle the name... but that seems sort of cheesy.

God DAMN do I hate my pro elf team.  swamp poop  I don't think Ingmar will let me play them enough to be presentable for the real league, so if I ever elf I guess it'll be The Fantasticks instead of The Blue Steel!

Thanks for the drunken bloodbowl Luckton, apologies for the unresponsiveness at the end of the match.

I collapse into drink induced sleep onto my keyboard I think on the 14th but you got lots of injuries and spps from that...

Another skilled chaos team...  ACK!

If you think that was bad, you should see the match I just had with ICE.  I think it was like 5 or 6 injuries, with only a couple of them Badly Hurt, everything else was  ACK!.  Apparently this was ICE's 4th attempt at getting a Norse team off the ground too.. why so serious?

Eh, it was fine until my Runner killed himself on a 1d block (skull rerolled to skull, I would estimate in all sobriety that I rolled over 50% skulls on my 1d blocks all game) and then the game crashed. Given that the dead Runner had scored one of my two TDs, and the crash meant that I had no MVP, and that in fact my 2-0 lead had only resulted in YOUR team getting even more free SPP as a result of the crash (giving you 4 free TDs worth of SPP)... just reminds me why Blood Bowl is basically a kind of stupid game.

I'm liking the development of this Chaos team of mine...now sporting 3 CW's with Block, 2 Wrestling Beasties, a +1MV Beastie, a +1AG Beastie, and a Minotaur that's just a couple points shy now of getting Tentacles  DRILLING AND MANLINESS

With minos I usually go with claws first, unless I get doubles, and then get tentacles afterward.  Claws tends to help you get more casualties, which leads to faster SPP development, especially since you'll find your minotaur pairing up against other teams' big guys, who often have higher AV.  They're both great choices though.  That said, I'm a firm believer that Chaos teams don't necessarily need minos to begin with and if they don't get block by level three, or, at worst, level four, they're not worth their TV; they can cause an inordinate amount of turnovers without block and have AV8, which makes them vulnerable to fouling/injury.

And I have a Goblin MNG too.  why so serious?

IMO, the ref should call out every foul unless you've got Sneaky Git.  You still have access to bribes and shit.

He almost killed my +1MV Beast, but the Apoth finally worked out for me.  Still, I lost one of my Wrestle Beasts  cry

Even with the losses, my 4th CW leveled up and rolled Doubles to get Jump Up.  My other Wrestle Bestie leveled up and picked up Tackle, and my Mino (who will also be missing his next game  Shaking fist) got Tentacles.

The game is Golden Hamsters v. Rusholme Ruffians and it is comedy gold.  If you want to know who wins this epic battle of speed and fangs, tune in to BBManager.

I've submitted my first Elfish team for battle.  Going the High Elf route.

Also, I'll be around most of today for matches if anyone's interested.  Hit me up on Steam if I'm on.

Proudft and I just played a match between our two D&M candidate teams.  The skaven induced the Rat Ogre Star Player, which was a bitch to overcome on my end.  Still, strategic use of my Mighty Blow Blitzer managed to get him off the field a couple times.

We both demonstrated our bashing and ball playing skills well, ending the game in a 2-2 tie.  Had it not been for the pitch invasion at the start of the match that basically left the rats with only two players on the field for the first two rounds, Proudft would have easily won.  Such is the randomness of Blood Bowl, I suppose  awesome, for real

The training did well.  Got to promote a BOB and a Blitzer to level 3.  More Guard and Mighty Blow  DRILLING AND MANLINESS

Perhaps when I wake up in the morning and if you're still on.  Just finished a match with ICE.  Apparently my Orcs 'really' love to break every team ICE sends my way, although this time a couple of the elfs slipped onto their own head and spontaneously kerploded  ACK! why so serious?

Well Lamros, the chat system seems to be down, as I only can see a couple people, and it says your offline, though I see your in Blood bowl.

I'd like to play more orcs.  Challenge them with what ever you want.

Or you could also approve the 3 teams I submitted and I can play one of them.   awesome, for real
