Yeah, I really am confused on the money.  I played a single player match against the PC with a brand new team, with NO FAME, and when I beat them, I got 120K winnings.  I had no idea how the fuck that happened.  Now it seems people in multiplayer get it as well.  Not sure if its a bug or just that we don't understand how the god damn rules work....

In other news, we had to delay the match between IanC and I.  It absolutely wont connect without port 26926 forwarded, and I cannot log into my god damn router.  Normally I type in 192.168.1.1 and it works fine.  I've done it in the past to configure shit (though its been many months since I last tried) but it can't connect.  ipconfig tells me that 192.168.1.1 is still the default gateway.  I've read every guide I can find on the internet, and nobody has any solutions.  I've tried it from every browser, from different computers, over wireless and directly connected with a wire, and I still can't log into the routers interface to forward ports.  I'm at wits end, though I'll probably stick a pin into the hole in the back of it to reset it to factory defaults then configure everything all over again (if I can still log into it) as a last resort.

Does anybody have any idea why I can't log into the router, despite working in the past?   The router is a linksys WRT54G.

Bleh.

My Amazons won 2-1. The Norse team kicked off and quickly frenzied the Amazon drive and rammed the ball carrier into the crowd. However, it didn't prevent a early TD after the crowd threw the ball to the other side of the field into the waiting arms of a lone Amazon set up for just that purpose. The Norse team made up for some on field mistakes with a quick thinking outflanking move and equalled the score at the end of the 2nd half.

Some early follies with the ball by the Norse team at the start of the 2nd half allowed a cage of Amazon's to get around the ball, but be matched by a cage of Norse around the other side. Much fumbling results as both teams get tackle zones on the ball and failing to pick it up, before the ball is broken loose and the Amazon's get a late Touchdown in the 2nd half.  The last chance to stop it failed when a rampaging Norse Werewolf tripped over just before he was about to pummel the unprotected Amazon ball carrier 1 square from the Touch down zone.

With Low armour both sides had 3+ KO's and some badly hurts, but none will effect the next match. I'd up load a replay, but I have no idea how.

Go to Single Player -> Load -> Replays. Figure out what the date/timestamp for your replay is. Then open up Documents/Blood Bowl Legendary/Replays (or something like that) and grab the replay from there.

Also, Falconeer I checked my replay and it hangs at the same place yours does. I think mine is just busted. Avaia might have a working one.

Big lesson from my match with comstar was to make damn sure I get the zero risk positional moves done before starting on even slightly risky stuff.

Nuffle was loving the turnovers on both sides but comstar was almost always better placed to recover.

(I was  feeling really smug about switching flanks for the td before half time though!)

Bleh.

The reset sounds like a likely coming option. I can't say. I hate networking and only found out that setting up BB meant opening the port for ip address .10, not .1 because I am an idiot. It makes my eyes go crossed.

I would really, really recommend you download the simple ipconfig program and go to the forums if you still have problems. I spent hours trying to sort out my issue; I posted on the guy's forums and he responded within ten minutes, helping me walk it through. Really nice guy, really willing to help out with stuff outside just troubleshooting on his program

Please everyone send the replays to me.
I see some of you (Comstar or Eldaec) uploaded it but it must be corrupted as it says your match ended in a 0 - 0 draw. If the replay is corrupted I can't do much but I can send it to the BBManager dev and see if he can figure out something.

Teleku,
I am sad and worried about your situation. Yeah, me and Modern Angel invested a lot of time into trying to figure out a solution before it was too late. Apparently Blood Bowl likes to give random problems to people, but complicated workarounds can be found here and there.

Here are a few links I dug out in the past few days. Please read it carefully (and this is assuming you are the problem and not IainC. Maybe he should make a check too.

I am sorry, I have no idea on why you can't connect to the router (especially since you could in the past. I can't connect to mine, but at least I know it's a "locked" model), but I am surprised no one else here does. Your best bet is, seriously, to post on that awesome forum Modern Angel is talking about. That guy is a router and port-forwarder wizard, super friendly and very fast.

Simple Port Forwarding, invaluable tool. It seems your router is supported by his software, and there are a couple of guides (scroll down for different firmwares) to do the job.

Finally, you say you have to open port 26926, but don't overlook this:

Let me add that the true value of the program isn't the program but the guy. The program doesn't do much that you don't already know if you're even average at knowing your way around a router. The guy is a gem though

Xuri put up a good fight - victimized more by the dice than me, to be honest (especially early).

Feel kind of bad that I got the ball in the first half off a fumble, than stood around with it for most of the half. I'm playing Norse, so I'm not confidant I can repeatedly score (though the SPP would be nice).

Highlight of the game for me was KO'ing his troll early in the game off a foul.

Xuri, a quick tip. You have to use the players with Frenzy to push opponents out of the pitch. In turn one, you almost did it, but in order to do it properly, you have to attack from a side, so on the followup block you have your oppoennt where you want it, on the sideline. If you attack frontally, you can push it laterally on the followup, but not out of bounds.

Another quick thing: I see you both have only 1 reroll. I am sure you have good reasons, but rerolls are invaluable. They help keep mental sanity in check, too, especially when you are playing your first matches. And especially with Frenzy players in your team. I'd suggest to buy some more with the future income of your team.

Thanks for the replay, I validated the match. You can now spend money and SP.

I only bought 1 reroll because I wanted to have an actual bench - Norse are pretty fragile, and I expect guys to get KO'ed and such.

Falc,

How is this matchup business going to work out? The calendar is still showing the Hammerblows team, which is not in the league...do you get to play this week?

No, the Hammerblows and the Davo's Dark Delights still appear in the Calendar but they are out of the tournament, so when you are supposed to play vs. them you actually rest for that week. In the calendar it says I won against them, but if you look at the rankings I have 0 points and 0 match played. So, working as intended.

So, to make it simple, next Game Day you are not playing, Strazos.

Is there a way to change that? We have even numbers...I'd rather not have a "Bye" week if possible - and so early, too.

I know, this is probably my (job's) fault, but still...

Teleku and I got around to our game this evening after a frustrating hour or so yesterday trying to get his router to co-operate. My block dice were reliably terrible but I managed to kill one of his players and injure another two. After a bit of a scrum in the centre, the Wood Elves broke the ball out and scored from a pass towards the end of the first half. I piled on a bit of pressure after the break, bent a few elves in ways that they weren't supposed to bend and pushed forwards. I lost possession but the Wood Elves couldn't manage to get the ball out of the cage and so I picked it back up, hammered a hole in their line and then ran it to the end zone to draw the score on the last turn.

We have a small problem. Fucking fucked up system now gives 3 points and a win to whoever "plays" against the dummy retired teams. Problem is, it didn't give the three points or the win to me and ezrast in Game Day #1. Why? No idea. So basically, we'll see what happens but my understanding is that it will give three points to everyone who plays (actually rests in their BYE turn) against them from now on, which means me and Ezrast will miss 3 points at the end of the Tournament. Eventually, we'll factor those 3 points in to compute the final standings and the playoff brackets. From now on the in-game Standings are not official anymore. Please refer to what I will post here as official.

This aesthetically sucks, I know. I am sorry, it's beyond me I am sure you understand.

We don't yet. Scrap TV. I'd say we go by scored TD difference (Scored minus Scored-against), what do you think?
This way, we keep it meaningful to try and score more instead of just stalling. But I am open to suggestions.

I think the "seeding manager" tool allows us to form the Play-offs based on our hierarchy, so we should be able to do whatever we want.

EDIT: BBManager seems to support TD difference, so it's probably a wise and widely adopted system.

As you can see, two matches have already been played. Which means only four to go 8 days before the deadline. Amazing.
Me and Proudft just had our match. I won easily, thanks to a questionable fact happened at the beginning of seconf half, whereas a Pitch Invasion (only happens on a roll of double sixes) devastated his team, despite me having Fame +2, for a total of 8 men stunned versus my 4. I felt very guilty for this, and I really smelled "bug", cause with Fame +2 (which is weird enough in itself) I should have had a stunner player for each 4 rolled. And yeah, maybe 4 stuns (4+ diceroll) out of 11 is possible. What doesn't make much sense is how he could roll eight sixes out of 11 dice! Too bad you can't really see the dicerolls for Pitch Invasion events, as I really felt guilty for my second TouchDown. Other than that, a fun match where he managed to score a passing TD in the last turns of the second half that I really didn't see coming.

Finally, a mention of honour for my blitzer, Simone de Beauvoir, who broke some dude's arm and sent him home prematurely. "I told you not to touch me, pig".  DRILLING AND WOMANLINESS
