Only if we can pretend my picking Shonn Greene in the JV league has put me in first place.

At least in the pick'em league I'm still holding my own....

Biggest Draft/Waiver Steals[/u]
2 - Darren McFadden - 13th Round, #3 WR, #6 in yahoo rankings
3 - Kyle Orton - 11th Round, #3 QB, #3 in overall fantasy points

Have used McFadden a couple of times to good effect.  Have Orton sitting safely on my bench, waiting for Rivers to go on his bye week.

Another bust?  I have Ray Rice, and while he doesn't qualify as a major bust, he has been disappointing.  So has Pierre Thomas.

T.O. has been a bit of a steal.  He has given me good points every week I've played him.  And aside from a bad week last week, Zach Miller has been solid as well.

Heh. the live gametracker stats just said that Janikowski kicked a 96 yard field goal.  I think he should get 20 points for that one.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

He's Dallas Clark's replacement.  You know how Peyton loves to throw to a decent TE.

If Tamme didn't have a bad case of the dropsies, he'd be fantasy gold. As it is, he's still going to be good points.

Next weekend is looking dire for me in the main F13 league. Brees and both my starting wideouts are on byes. Hasselbeck would be a decent backup QB option, but his vage is sprained. I have to scour the waiver wire which is full of guys who have been hurt and may or may not play. I'm fucked.

Prediction:  I'm going to lose this week.

So I have an 8 point lead going into MNF.  I have the Steelers defense going against Mendenhall.  I still have a bad feeling.

Thought I had a shot in my league this week, up against a good team ahead of me in the standings. Big game from Farve, a few other suprises, and I had 80 points with Miles Austin still to play.

Then I looked at his team. Arian Foster and whoever that RB in Cleveland is. 64 points he gets, from just two players...

Murdoc is my new hero.  He has 16 more total points than I do.

Murdoc's Bandwagon 733 points:  6-3 record

Nebu's Neurotics 717 points:  3-6 record

Sorry guys, I'm trying to keep up with my team and at least make sure I have a roster full of starters, but had some issues this week and it got away from me. I cannot stand guys that don't manage their teams, especially in a head to head league where win/loss is more important than total points (as Nebu points out).

Hopefully this week is not the norm and I'll at least be able to make sure I have a roster of starters each week.  How I'm still in 2nd place confuses and frightens me.

No matter how I did it, I was still going to lose last week, so there's that at least. If I *could* have won if I'd set my team, i'd kinda feel bad.

Very true. It wasn't going to happen in any form that week, so nobody can fault you for taking a bye.

Aaaaaand I lost by .6 points.  That's less than one point.  LESS THAN ONE.

Fucking Mendenhall.  And all the weeks to have TO on the bench, plus an unexpected Zach Miller no-show.

Unexpected?  He was doubtful since Friday.  It was pretty obvious he wasn't playing this week if you followed pregame weekly practice notes.

Yeah, I didn't mean it that way, bad choice of words.  I made a choice not to go out and pick up a second TE...a combination of hoping he'd play anyway, or that it ultimately wouldn't matter.  Wrong!

Once it got to goal line I felt good, before that point they were too far behind to consider running the ball much.  That TD won this game for me but TO not catching that 3rd TD in the end zone cost me on my money league.  Can't have it all.

Oddly enough, in the family league I'm in, my wife had pretty much the same sentiment, though she finally did get rid of him.   The only thing that annoys her more is that I started Michael "Dog Fight" Vick against her this week.
