I literally had two half-chuckles the entire episode.  Lana saying "Thanks <name>" and dude jacking it at the end.  I miss hot coke'ed up Pam.

I did not get the emergency phone stuff at all.  Otherwise the episode was great, and i felt smart for catching the untouchables reference.  Cheryl totally being a mind reader was freaking fantastic.

Archer pranked the phone the way he does his own to avoid Mallory was my guess.

Good episode :)

I thought it was great, laughed so hard I nearly hurt myself.

My wife and I finally finished last season last night. Last ep was AMAZING. Pam's 'long, racist story' line almost killed me, and this from Lana's baby nearly made me pee-

I had to check to be sure but the voice for Farooq was indeed the guy that plays Dinesh on Silicon Valley. Having to lock the guns in the time-lock vault on poker night because of the "hate crimes" was genius.

I had to pause the episode to look it up, I've never watched Silicon Valley but he is also the guy who plays the super annoying but frustratingly realistic salesperson in Portlandia.

Edit: Oh and holy shit that episode was amazing.  Amazing.

Yeah, see now THAT was a good episode.  There was an actual funny story instead of bitching in an elevator.

Dear God, I laughed my ass off at this episode. It doesn't hurt to have Keith David and CCH Pounder doing bit voice work either.

My reaction when I realized they were about to do a Bullitt homage was almost exactly the same as Archer's.   DRILLING AND MANLINESS

Good episode.  The B-story was lame, but I really enjoyed Lana and Archer's.  Every year their animation gets better and better also.

This is easily my fav show on TV atm. I just wish I could watch it when my kids are still awake. They see animation and assume I am watching one of 'their' shows.

Yeah, the first episode just felt like a bunch of slightly disconnected gags, it didn't seem to flow as well as previous seasons. Hopefully it's just setting up some better episodes later on,
