Congratulations everyone! Being a father is the best thing that ever happened to me. Followed closely by being an uncle (Hi Slayerik! ) Time goes by fast! Enjoy every moment, every age ... they grow quickly! My daughter Jaelyn, at 8 months old:  Jaelyn earlier this summer, age 10:  Fortunately, she's as smart, kind, and funny as she is beautiful (yeah, I'm biased!). Maybe that'll save us during adolescence. Ha. Ha ha ha. I'm in trouble.  |

No pictures just now but the comments of dorkiness prompted me to come in here and brag that my son has almost gotten 100% in Lego Harry Potter. My wife tells me to go help him and I just sit and watch as he knocks out about six characters and two or three gold bricks. There is ONE gold brick left, no idea where it is, so we might be stuck here. Also, he is all about Harry Potter audio books. I'm glad that Bakugan thing disappeared. |

I thought I could see a difference in the first pic, which is what sparked the question. I have always wondered how parents figured it out when the kids were REALLY little. How often have they named kids and then unknowingly called them by the wrong names later on down the line? |

Took advantage of a beautiful afternoon and went across town to catch a 4:30 O's game with the wife and kid. She spent most of the game in the kid area, but I did manage to get her to watch an inning or two in the stands, before it was back to the bouncy house.  |
