Our cats do both. The latter at 4 in the morning on my forehead if I don't keep the bedroom door closed.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Both of them are thinking, "What the hell is that animal?!"

I don't think those 'things' think...

Edit: pictures:

Images from the bear station Harghita in the east-carpathian mountains of Romania.

Edit 2: Awww. Found a veery cute one:

Name is Boogster. Heart A boar-hunting party scared their mother who tried to flee with the cubs, carrying them in her mouth. She lost Boogster, and afraid of the barking dogs didn't return. A hunter picked him up and brought him to Hargathia.

(dear mods, sorry about the size. Would it be more polite to spoiler such images, leaving it to the reader to open them, or simply re-size them but thus risking the loss of cute-details?)

They aren't that big. Also you can use width and/or height parameters within the img tag to have it resized for you like this (quote to see the tags):
