That was bananas. That was definitely a point of no return. You can't go back to denying how deep into this you are once that happens.

How the hell are they going to top that for the season finale? I can't wait to find out.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

I took a break from this show and glad I did. Made for some great catching up.
I can't believe this show manages to hold so much momentum and surprises still.
Last episode was simply fucking amazing.

One thing that was going through my mind constantly in the last couple episodes was Gail.
I don't think we will ever see Gail again.
I think Gail has been made into a ghost.
Loose ends, tie them. Seems like the way Gus would take care of that situation. The entire letting Gail go and saying bye to Walt thing was for show. Soon as he was escorted out of the lab, I'm sure we was driven to the desert for a dirt nap.

That or Gus has Gail very throughly in his pocket and he will be brought back to replace Walt after the 3 months.

The ending was so awesome that I forgot to mention the great cold open, which was consistent with the cold opens being brilliant little mini-movies and one of my favorite aspects of the show.

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

Well, that was excellent. The tension that entire episode leading up to the ending? Wow.

Oh and the Heisenberg hat made its triumphant return.

Brilliant.

This show has something in common with The Wire, with good people who only want to do the right thing being forced into bad places by a system they just can't escape from.

Why don't you try our other games?

And yet, with the way he spoke, it leaves just a hint of a possibility that just maybe he didn't shot him.
Not trying to argue that he didn't at this point, just saying I really like Gilligan worded that. This guy really knows how to write a show.

You really get the feeling season 4 is going to open up in a way no one saw coming, while totally working in an awesome way.

New Episodes Won't Air Until July 2011

Well fuck. They'll do some interstitials on the web site sometime next year, but we get to hang on that cliffhanger ending for a full fucking year? SHIT.

At least it wasn't canceled after the cliffhanger.  This reminds me that i need to catch up on this show though.  I only made it through the first three or four episodes so far and even those episodes were pretty rough for me to manage.

Excellent.

However, I think they need to wrap this up and call this the final season. Far too many TV series go on too long when a well-executed finale would work much better.

Damn you AMC for not letting me watch past episodes online.  I can't seem to find when the first episode is replaying now that it's been more than a week.

I think it's a good thing.  The show is awesome, but at least this way it can go out on an awesome note instead of it outstaying it's awesomeness.
