Airs: AMC Sunday nights @ 10pm EST

Story is about middle aged chemistry teacher who starts dealing meth in order to pay the bills and leave behind money for his family after he dies. It's pretty dark series by vince gilligan with some great acting.

Season two just fired back up last night anyone else watching?

I watched the whole first season and have season 2's premier on my Tivo. I liked the series a lot, but it's tough to watch at times. Bryan Cranston is marvelous in the role. You want to root for the guy and his condition, but at the same time, he's just done such awful things. It's a good, moving human drama piece.

I enjoy watching Bryan Cranston in this role and think he fits it so well, which definitely helps to make it a damn good show.

Disapointed this week didnt resolve the bear. They usually wrap things up nicely in a episode.

I'd put money that is gonna be the last shot in the season finale.

This is a great show.

Even though it's been said I'm going to have to throw my accolades for Bryan Cranston is as well.  I thought having an antagonist with only a little bell to communicate was a nice touch this week lol.

A poster signed by Richard Garriot, Brad McQuaid, Marc Jacobs and SmerricK Dart.  Of course it would arrive a couple years late, missing letters and a picture but it would be epic none the less. -Tmon

Also here's a grab of the "swipe" in the intro, I flipped the frame.

I am slowly beginning to hate Bryan Cranston's face and the handful of expressions that seem to rotate playing time on it.

The one where he's kinda frowning, but with his mouth wide open, is the worst. Is it just shaped like that? Oh god.

That last scene where he stared down the potential competitor in the home improvement store's parking lot was great.

Why does AMC have the exclusive on character development these days?

Same reason why we have to put up with those scenes of his wife at the office.

The chosen actor for the distributor was absolutely perfect, as was the reveal.

Well the series went out with a bang and setup next year. I was worried it would loose the spark but the writing was really strong the whole season and the addition of Sal and his "associates" really make me scared how probbly true to life it could be.

The season finale was spectacular. I loved how it teased us the entire season with that goddamn bear, setting up the expectation that you knew exactly how it was going to turn out. Walter's house would go boom and someone would die. And not only does it not work that way, it's something so totally random yet connected. This show is fantastic.

I hope they stop after next season though. It's walking a razor thin line of stretching believability too far.

I just got to the season finale of the first season. Wow. What a great show. It's definitely rough sledding with the subject matter, but they handle it all really well and what seems very realistically.

Well, they didn't waste any time on his wife figuring it out.

I think the relationship between Walt and Jesse will be all the more amusing this season with Jesse being all about accepting who he is and Walt being the master of denial.

And there is no way that Walt doesn't take that $3 million in the next few episodes.

The 2nd episode was much better than the 1st. I wonder if the pizza finding its way to the roof like that was intentional or not. Just seems like one of those things that might have just happened and they kind of went with it.

Edit: It appears that it was intentional, but still a bit of luck involved. Per Vince Gillgan:
Quote
Our special effects expert did indeed work up some mechanism for getting the pizza out of the box and onto the roof, using fishline or somesuch. However, to the best of my knowledge, his rig was never used. What you see in the finished episode is take one, in which Bryan basically just did a Hail Mary toss and got it up there in one try!

Watched this from first ep to last Sunday's over the last two weeks or so. Great, great show.

Just finished catching up on season three. Still quality stuff, though I agree with Haemish that it might be a good idea to end the series while it's still playing to its strengths.

Still, when they do decide to pull the plug, I'll miss Cranston's gruff and chilly delivery, and the way the series avoids patronising the viewer, which is a refreshing rarity in shows that deal with morally ambiguous subject matter.

I'll certainly miss the wonderful use of foreshadowing as well. I love the way the show alludes to specific plot developments, while at the same time leaving those foreshadowing scenes open to symbolic interpretation. The teddy bear of season two is a prime example.
