Another latecomer here. Just finished Season 4 and that was indeed DRILLING AND MANLINESS all the way through.

I can't think of any other show that made me flip between hating and loving every single one of the characters that much.

They've said this is going to be the final season haven't they? So I'm expecting a fairly final finale.

AMC's website  Has the trailer up for the season premier.  It appears like Walt is going to try to take over Gus' operation ..... which sounds a bit disappointing since a big part of the last season was he was trying to find a way out (granted, he wanted out cause he knew Gus wanted him gone but still).

They have yet to disappoint me though so I'm still looking forward to it.

Just awesome. It's fitting that the show is drug-like itself. Now I want more, right away.

Fuck Yeah.  So I cancelled cable last thursday and they came to shut off the cable signal to my house.  I then found out about BB coming back this weekend and hated my decision.

Turns out I came back from out of town to find out that while I don't have 90% of the cable channels I used to have, oddly enough I still have AMC.  So my dvr (that I hadn't returned yet) recorded Breaking Bad  DRILLING AND MANLINESS

I have just started watching these on Netflix.  Very enjoyable.  One of the better shows I have seen in some time.

The atmosphere, dialogue and constant quality of production. The amazing photography. A protagonist.

I'll be happy to put this up right there next to The Wire on an otherwise pretty desolate level of plank in my DVD rack.

Over past several weeks, finally viewed seasons 1-4 on NetFlix. Did not think this show would ever appeal to me, but this is quality TV and the cast, writing, etc.… extraordinary. A few episodes in the beginning-middle of season 4 seemed to lull, but it picked up intensely thereafter again.

Some of my favorite scenes:

Is there anywhere online where I can get newly minted Season 5 episodes? Season available on iTunes for ~$20 (or $3 per episode).

Hope season 5 is consistent, unlike Lost or other shows that degraded in their final "last supper" season.

I am currently catching up on this on Netflix too. Halfway through season 2 and can't stop watching. Don't know why I didn't get into this show long before this.

Have you tried the internet? It's made out of millions of people missing the point of everything and then getting angry about it

Is there anybody that is current with the show, is okay to talk about the newest episodes here with some spoilers?

Edit: I mean using spoiler tags?

Jesse actually was supposed to be killed off in the first season, but they liked the way he played his character and the chemistry between him and Walt that they kept him on.  He said in an Interview on NPR one time that the directors kept joking with him after the fact that they could kill him off at any time lol.

He was actually saved by the writer's strike that cut short the first season.

This season Jess is defiantly carry the show, from the acting to the way he is written. Half the time he is more of an adult than Walt by a mile. And god damn those this show proves it, how much would our spoilers change if Jess was allowed to help Mike?

In the end Walt is basically a irredeemable character beyond any recognition and his evolution from someone I rooted for to someone I want to punch in the face is wonderfully done.
