The yelp song Boogers and Cum is probably the hardest I've laughed all season. That was gold.

That whole episode was great from start to finish. They have really hit some high notes this season. 4 stars!  why so serious?

Every episode this season has been great. "Where My Country Gone?" is my favourite.

Or maybe I just have Maple Fever, guy.

Did somebody sneak this bit in, or is this a real thing?  It seems like more of an Onion move than NBC.

Quote
Fappy The Anti-Masturbation Dolphin, a mascot for a Christian anti-masturbation organization, says the company is losing business because of Yelp reviewers.

“Before being listed on Yelp we had no problem going around the country speaking to elementary school children about the dangers and consequences of masturbation. Now, with our poor reviews on Yelp, people are beginning to question our morals and ethics, like that is so important. Just because I have been arrested three times for public masturbation and each case was pardoned by the Governor, doesn’t mean our federal funding and government support had anything to do with it. With the assumptions made by Yelp reviewers, they are causing deadly self-rape addictions in this country to continue and in the end it is Big Masturbation that wins. Such a shame.”

That's another example of savvy Internet people fucking hard with idiot "Journalists" who run with a story rather than do things like check facts.

Fap has been internet slang for masturbation since Clay wrote The Thin-H Line 12 years ago. Fappy the dolphin as a mascot for an anti-masturbation group was a Tweet from Michael Moore back in 2013
http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2013/12/twitter-hoaxes-2013
That took me all of ONE Google search.

A Christian group lead by a guy arrested for public masturbation is icing on the cake.

Yeah, NBC is getting punked.

ed:

It's not even NBC, it's NBC.Co which is apparently a comedy site

That entire website is some sort of parody or possibly a marketing gimmick for people selling Fappy t shirts (by providing seo for their Facebook page)

This is bar none the best South Park season I've ever seen. I can't wait to see the next episode. That's never happened before.

And Jimmy as the guy who puts PC Principal in his place? It's so fucking gold it hurts.

I've been watching them online and Is it just me, or were there a lot more ads than usual during this episode?

I've been doing the same thing but haven't noticed any more ads than normal for this season.

I haven't been watching the show for years so I can't judge the quality of this compared to previous seasons but I can't imagine they are on the whole as high a quality as this one has been. Just about every episode has been a gem.

This simply is the best season, possibly in South Park's history. While the last five seasons were really good and steadily improving (with the the last two seasons being really fucking good), they just were not at this level.

If you haven't seen the past few seasons you really should watch them.  By the time the last season ended I thought it was South Park's best.  Now this one has supplanted it.  I know that Bill Hader has had an increased role in writing for the show since he left SNL and wonder if that has had anything to do with the quality going up.

Last night's episode was pretty lame. Sort of a filler episode that didn't really advance the story at all, nor did it have any take off one-liner jokes.

The only parts where I really laughed were when Jimmy gets accused of thinking with his dick, and when Randy gets the shit kicked out of him by Caitlen Jenner.

I agree it wasn't a really funny episode, and even a bit of a let down, but it did make me realize that SP has better storytelling than most of the shit on TV right now.

Randy being amazed at the breaching of the safe space zone was great, Garrison and Jenner's interaction was fun and kinda sweet, the "hunger strike" being a strike of not eating pussy was a pretty good throw away joke,   and Jenner constantly running over people will never not be funny. Plus a Barbrady "I'm through shooting people" (blam) "oh sorry. "

It was the middle of a three parter and felt like it but i liked a lot of stuff in it.

Finale was a bit of a let down but I think they just started having too many great ideas and couldn't get them all neatly tied.

The gun show had me chuckling though.

Maybe it's just because I literally live in Shi Tpa Town (our Whole Foods is under construction and opens some time next year), but I found the entire plot about gentrifying the Earth until humans can't afford to live there anymore to be hilarious.  Same with the beat from "how are we going to get guns" to "ok, now we have guns".

If that happens humour is over, there's nothing left to laugh about.

They'll have Garrison freaking out as Jenner takes over and runs things. Like Trump is likely to do.

They didn't. They had to do a quick rewrite and I don't think it was where they wanted to go with things. As a result the episode was pretty bizarre and not as funny. Mirroring the actual election I'm sure.

They did get in some funny shots at trolling, but again it feels like they are setting up to something.

Like SNL, the results were bad in the eyes of the South Park folk personally, but gold professionally.  They may not have been ready for the result for this week, but they have ample source material until a few weeks after the assassination. Trump leaves office.

This ended the season last night, and like most South Park endings to their story arcs lately it was incredibly silly.

The funniest part to me was Cartman convincing guys that they were going to end up on the Cum and Joke Mines on Mars to serve women. Member berries were more of an actual critique of the entertainment industry rather than a joke to me. I don't think they did enough with Garrison's character because they were honestly shocked he won. I think they had something much funnier lined up with Clinton, but the actual election stole it away and they had to go into crisis mode and the story sort of fell apart with the election stuff after that.

The trolls stuff got old to me after a while. Although I did enjoy the parting shot at the end about the first email sent in the new internet.
