That last episode just wasn't funny or clever; it was veered between mindless and odd.

The character of cartman has jumped the shark.  I know the whole intent was to push him as far as they could but now he's just so unrealistic that the story lines suffer for it.

He's been like that almost since inception.  I mean he's killed people and made chili out of them.

See that's where I would disagree.  In the beginning he was clearly evil and amoral but now it's just a parody of itself where he waffles between evil and just retarded.

Yeah, this episode felt like what South Park trying to parody themselves would look like

I was watching last night, and they replayed an older episode. I was checking my guide thinking I missed something because it said there was a new one.

Then I read this:

The whole season has been really good so far.  So many layers of jokes on top of each other, but I agree Black Friday's weaving of GoT, Console Fanboisim and Black Friday Consumer Culture commentary was particularly epic.

Okay, I honest to god thought that south park had hit a pretty bad slump this season, but tonight's episode was one of the best I've ever seen them do.  I was actually in tears a couple times.

The usual GoT complaint is that there isn't enough male nudity compared to how much female nudity there is though, and none of it has anything to do with Martin in the first place.

Yeah, but I have to admit that since I caught it when it was rerun late at night, having a trojan commercial immediately follow the Martin wiener choir was a nice touch.  awesome, for real

It felt like they used all their best ideas in the first episode of the three and by the time they got to final one they were just going through the motions.

Yeah pretty much, the only reason we got 3 episodes instead of 2 was for the one Martin joke.

New episode was pretty funny. Riffed on both the Redskins name and the Kickstarter stuff, which made me laugh.

  • Cartman is such a shit!
  • Butters in a tutu dancing in happy bliss to the song was heartbreaking.  Heart
  • Autotune!  why so serious?

I haven't watched South Park for years and I've caught all 3 episodes so far this season. It's been hysterical. Love the Lorde jokes. That sounded a lot like her when they added the autotuning. Does anyone know if she actually participated?

The bush episode had me rolling several times.

All the people making invert innuendos towards her bush before correcting themselves. Such juvenile humour, but I couldn't help laughing.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

With them referencing It's interesting how "topical" southpark is towards current events lately.

Also I am starting to get a suspicion that the "Cartman" character might be sort of a dick!

South Park has been pretty topical almost it's entire run.  Helps when you are making the episode the week of.

Also Cartman has been a dick since season 1.  hehe.

You mean the episode in which he tricked a boy into eating his own parents didn't already give that away?
