No. Those women have some terrible, terrible skin. Particularly since the average star's age is only somewhere around 23. My wife is 12 years older than that and takes a better picture w/o makeup.

I thought some of them looked nicer with no make up, too. None of it is the sort of make up I like, but I should think it's heavy because they're making films, right? How often do you see people wearing a full face of heavy, perfectly applied make up, anyway? I kind of think it was cool that they had photos taken with and without make up. I should think it reminds people that they're actors and not some kind of professional skank who runs around town having sex with every man, woman and various inanimate objects they find lying around. Some how I don't think a bunch of average looking people having sex would sell a lot of films, right?
I am done saying make up for today. Today's word is skank. My sister was not amused. :(

I'm broken but I found it awesome to discover the real human behind the doll-face make up mask. Yeah, sure, some of them are no prize, but you should have known that make up really does improve the looks of women. Its the reason its popular with the ladies, porn stars or not.
Also, the camera is VERY unforgiving of pale complexions with no make up. Makes skin look extremely blotchy.

Some of them, I wish both photos would have been taken with the same positioning or with the subject making the same face. For some, they're smiling in one, with a neutral look in another.
And I dare say some of them are perfectly good looking even without the makeup...which is probably a feat considering they prolly rolled out of bed to come in to the shoot.

Stage makeup is absolute shit for the skin. Take a look at the average TV or movie star without makeup, and you'll see something similar. Maybe it's gotten better over the years, but back when I had any intersection with theater ("I knew people in it who bitched about it" college level), it was a common complaint. Thick, held in sweat and oils, and basically the more time you spent in it the more it ravaged your skin. |

The acne is definitely stage makeup. Blotchy? Probably, but that seems like the sort of thing modern medicine can correct a bit better -- if expensively. Porn stars don't make enough for spa treatments, I would imagine. :) |

I have to assume they show up on the "film" location without any makeup so that the professional make up person can do their thing. She should probably be listed higher up in the credits than the director by the looks of things.
