Soo... it's June 10th so that means that Yahoo Fantasy Football has opened it's registration.  awesome, for real

I'm willing to start the league up, since you can just copy the rules from last year, but I noticed with my other league that I run, that as the previous commissioner you can just 'renew' the league and carry-on.

I think Shiznit started the f13 league and I *think* Rasix started the JV league (if necessary!).

Again, I don't mind starting the league up, even THIS early, since it may mean we get a decent live draft time/date. Post in here I guess if you're interested.

Right after you take Shaun Alexander, I'm sure.

(actually, I won't be surprised for a second if Benson signs with another team, and plays really well when he's surrounded by teammates that don't completely hate his guts)

In with the Kilt Wavers.

Also, your defensive scoring may be a bit high, but I can dig it.

Also check the draft date and time. I went late august but it is easier to change it now if someone knows they won't be around.

In league as R'lyeh City Rollers.  Will create the JV team as soon as this one starts nearing capacity.

Agoraphobes are back to defend.  Great draft day/time, as far as I'm concerned.

We're at 12.  Might be a good idea to lock this bitch up before someone has to draft Marcel Shipp.

Are we sure we dont want to make it 16 this year? It makes for a more realistic playoff and team setup imo since people have to go a bit deeper into the lineups.

Going to 14 is OK. Not good, but doable.   I really don't suggest anything more than that.

You do not want 16.  It's no fun when one guy is the only one who had his draft pan out and just steam rolls everyone that's reduced to starting 2nd stringers. You'll have extreme depth issues across the board that while they might seem challenging are just no fun.  How am I supposed to get excited about starting Marty Booker and Matt Jones?

We could let CM in and relegate Phil to the minor leagues for his terrible performance last year.

I want 14 then. There's obviously interest. TBH, last season there were too many 130+ point weeks for my tastes, and it got a little ridiculous.

Expanding to 14 but not 16. I am also going to remove an active roster position to compensate.

edit: 14 it is.

Changed from

QB,WR,WR,RB,TE,W/R

to

QB,WR,RB,WR/TE,WR/RB

There are barely 6 good TEs in the league so it seems nuts to have 14 in action every week. The 0.5/reception makes short yardage WRs a bit more viable as well.

I would rather see 2 mandatory WRs. There are tons of them available, while RBs are at a premium. If you give everyone the choice between a 2nd RB and a 2nd WR, it is no contest, and then the first 5 rounds are 40 RBs 5 WRs, a TE or two, and 10 QBs. Bleah.
