I would agree with that WR/RB to just WR shift. I think the amount of solid WR's makes 2 of them worthy, while RB's make that just a mad dash for 2 RB spots early.

Why not make two leagues but treat them as two divisions? Have two 12-team leagues (or 10 even) and cut a week off the season length of each. Those can be our "conferences". Then have the winner of each play each other for the f13 e-peen of the year award?
That way, we can have more people playing but won't have the "My starting back is a fourth-stringer for the Bucs" problem, since every player could be basically used twice.
I guess you couldn't have cross-"conference" trades with that setup, and would need to score the championship game by hand, but it might be worth it.
Anyway, just an idea.
