This is the Kopp-Etchells effect. The helicopter blades interact with the dust in the air.  Nah, that's a CH-47, they generally catch on fire when you start them up.  |

Wow. Flashback to my youth when I lived in San Bernardino, CA and we had what was called the Panorama Fire. The mountains looked like they had rivers of fire trailing down them. Sky (not the board member) looked a lot like that picture. Eerie stuff. |

So you're thinking the ingame shot only looks like the latter because we now have the latter for reference? I could see that, since I'd never have looked at the first image that way. But now that it's there, I can't not see it that way.

What is the name of this "style of art"? Not the use of coffee per se, but the use of (generally) other smaller pictures with the right shades that then create a larger picture.
You were right, it bugged me too but tracked it down as 'Pointillism'. Awesome thanks... it bugged me so much I forgot about it until I revisited this thread, then it bugged me again but VIOLA! you saved me a good 10 minutes of searching  |
