Probably best to just take the Radar O'Reilly approach: "Ahhhhh, Bach" (nods head)

Germans:

Filed request to be excused of jury duty in August, as the Baby is hanging on my breast all day. The reply was funny. [She is breast feeding]

[Reply] Unfortunately I have to ask you to provide additional documentation for your request. In particular please substantiate that you are currently as well as consecutively in future breast-feeding full time. It would additionally be helpful, albeit not obligatory, to outline, based on your experience, the required breast-feeding-frequency. A, in my view, suitable reference would be an attestation by a midwife or a doctor. The therefor arising costs will be recouped.

Walmart actually has cases like that sitting at the end of the registers?  Like, grab a bag of skittles, maybe some gum, and hey, throw in the 12 gauge while we're impulse shopping?

It's more like the register at the electronic section, you have to pay for guns and ammo there.

"Like a hero" is correct. e.g. half an hour or in a half hour. Basically if the "h" is pronounced.

I'd bet that isolated Judith by Caravaggio is from the art book cover. I'm painting the same isolated portrait, and I love it exactly for that reason: being out of context it's beautiful and mysterious...but she's actually chopping a goddamned Assyrian's head off.
