In honor of page 420
Last night I was all 'Why are there so many stoner things on tv, it's crazy?' (Pineapple Express, every Towlie episode, etc)

The 420 thing happened in the 90s, it didn't exist in weed culture in the 80s, so it always confuses me. Actually, as someone who was very heavily involved in the 80s weed culture it was pretty funny when I started hanging out with 90s kids, who had built up all these memes and rituals around it. We would just grow good pot and smoke it while listening to Iron Maiden or something. *shrug*

I left Poland before the last government got crushed and thrown out of office.  Why is the current defense minister insane?

There is a lot but selected few:
- main actor in the conspiracy theory that death of Polish president (plane disaster) was the assault prepared by Russia in cooperation with polish prime minister. It was conducted with use of artificial fog at the airport, explosives and other factors. All based on opinions of experts who analysed the crash with use of exploding sausages and coca-cola cans. As he stated this was the act of war.
- he has started the investigation about people in different parts of Poland subjected to electromagnetic weapon tests by unknown forces

Ah, ok then.   awesome, for real

Though to be fair, I’ve learned at this point that it’s never a bad idea to suspect Putin when somebody dies.

Actually, because I got curious about the pic and went on a web search expedition, I know the answer to that: No more than one. One shipping container, filled with plastic feedstock beads, floated away and was not recovered.

I meant more on a global scale, not just in this incident (though that's pretty impressive that they only lost one container in that tilt).

http://gcaptain.com/how-many-shipping-containers-lost-at-sea/

First article on google, gives some numbers.

Also, Mahrin is being more literal than you are probably interpreting.  They lost hundreds of containers into the ocean from that wreck.  But they took the time to salvage everything from the sea floor to clean up the ocean (since the ship had run a ground on a shallow spot), except for the one container that floated away.

On last weeks deadliest catch episode one of the captains was talking about why they set a night watch and besides the other boats in the area he mentioned because they have to watch for errant floating shipping containers so I'm thinking the number is pretty high if it's an actual concern you have to watch for.

When you're hundreds of miles at sea every day of your life for the entirety of your life, a greater than 0 chance of hitting something means you set a watch.

The past cannot be changed. The future is yet within your power.
