I actually found a selfie, circa 2000, I took with a disposable camera of me and the girl I was seeing. But that was when you rolled the dice and dropped your film off and such.
Now it is just outta hand.

Same here. I use one as my profile picture that I took in November of 1999, long before it ever became a thing. I thought it was cool to actually get a decent photo in a single shot on a film camera. |

I had no idea how prevalent those damn selfie sticks were; I hadn't seen any before vacationing in Orlando for the last two weeks. Nor was it just the young'uns with them. My wife even suggested she should get one until I reminded her how much I would mock her if she started taking selfies. Also, the asshole taking selfies on Pirates of the Caribbean was one flash away from his phone "accidentally" falling into the water. Then again, I knew the trip was jinxed somehow when I saw our connecting flight out of Minneapolis was leaving from gate.....F13 |
