Flood suffers from premature celebration syndrome.  How cruel of you to mock him thusly.

And since I'll be too busy tomorrow to say it, Happy Turkey Day.

I have begun the gorge. The night before Thanksgiving should be called "Drink til you're almost dead" Night. |

Microsoft is dropping the ball if that's true. It's not that, but sales of 360s has really been picking up. I won't be surprised if my particular GS sells out of 360s. It's going to be another 360 Christmas. |

That was my plan, but I couldn't find any takers to participate.  I try not to drink alone anymore, things go south pretty fast. |

I think I'm European. I just don't care about this holiday that much.
The food will be good. That's that. Have fun.

I'll be spending tomorrow in the boonies (Sacramento) with family.  My last several hours have been spent crafting four pies from scratch, crust and everything.  Probably the most ambitious baking project I've ever undertaken.  I'm sleepy and have a long drive ahead of me tomorrow that starts earlier than I'd like. On the plus side, my house smells delightful right now, and tomorrow there will be pie for all.     Happy Thanksgiving! |

We don't do anything or go anywhere.  I like to cook, though, so I usually do something nice for the two of us during holidays.  Not this year.   I bought everything pre-made from Wegman's and will freeze the left overs for Xmas. This year, as an extra special holiday festivity, my flu shot seems to have given me the flu.     |

 Happy Thanksgiving folks!
I'm thankful for the 360, WoW, Titan Quest, Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, The WoW CCG, Lego Star Wars, my new job, my new house and a Democrat-controlled congress.

 Whew, quite a run-on sentence.

Today I'll be ingesting bird flesh and watching my beloved Detroit Lions pouce on some unsuspecting team!

Then it'll be a afternoon and night of Gears of War!  Booyah!  :-D

That game is more than awesome, it's awsomer or post-awesome, whatever.

And I'm thankful for my friends and family.

 Cheers!

 Happy Thanksgiving.
I'm thankful I like 99% of my extended family since all of it lives in my city (all my aunts and uncles moved back when everyone started having kids).

I'm thankful that my dad is a good cajun cook.

Happy turkey day. I'm thankful I have somewhere to go to bitch and rant about stuff that, in the greater scheme of things, really doesn't matter much at all. It sure does make me feel better on a day to day basis, so that counts for a lot. |

You just owned Miasma: Seinfeld was, and still is, the best sitcom ever made.

Oh please, WKRP was good but it wasn't that good.  I could disagree with but still respect people arguing that say, MASH, was the best ever though. |

Is this f13 accolade purely for American sitcoms? Because Fawlty Towers, Reginald Perrin, Blackadder, Red Dwarf, Jeeves and Wooster, The Young Ones, The New Statesman, The Office and Citizen Smith were all leagues ahead of those mentioned above. |

Woot! derail time. I really couldn't get into black adder, but I did love red dwarf. I suppose it's a sitcom, but I never really considered it to be such. |

I never really thought to label the British comedies with the almost derogatory term "sitcom".  That's interesting, I guess they could be classified as that though, if you wanted to.  I also love a lot of British comedies like Monty Python, Blackadder, Father Ted, Yes Primeminister, Chef!, The Office, My Family, Absolutely Fabulous and so on.  I guess I'm also taking into consideration some measure of quantity too though.  Fawlty Towers, while definitely better than Seinfeld in an episode by episode comparison, only managed to make twelve shows in four years.  I have to think that almost two hundred very good episodes trump a dozen very, very good episodes.  I'm not entirely sure I agree with myself though... |

I'm afraid you're going to have to be put on the list. The list of people who like ab-fab, so that I can brutally slay them as a warning to humanity never to tread down that dark path again. |

I would much rather watch twelve episodes of something I enjoy than two hundred where I want to scratch my eyes out with each one. |
