Just made the worst actual joke on Facebook. It's fucking terrible. But I can't delete it because it's hilarious.

You can legally shoot someone with a gun as well, and we have that shit covered. This isn't for home defense. How about less "you're having fun the wrong way", more real answers or funny jokes. I'll take either one.
Name it Bianca. Invent several stories about where you got it, none of them actually true. Oh, wow... now this must be done.

For someone with arm strength rated as "weak-ass", a crossbow with a winch is the way to go. I haven't found what seems to be a quality crossbow that has a built-in. Is that a thing? Do I need to just get the add-on winch with a good crossbow?
Boss said get one with a built-in. It's a hassle having the 2nd piece of equipment to lug around in the field. He recommended TenPoint as that's what he has and it comes with a lifetime warranty. http://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/You were far more sleep deprived than you think you were.

Yeah, but he blows money on guns ammo and other such things like it's going out of style. The amount of ammo he's got is at 'wtf' levels.
Try the GT Flex, they're only $800 or so.

Eh, that's too much. Besides just replacing a dishwasher (which I improved by transferring the nice insulating blanket from the old one and stuffing fiberglass bats in key places) and two water heaters, my wife would not agree to spending that much on a toy. Also, let's not forget that new HVAC we had installed over the summer. And I just dropped $900 on a new ventless gas fireplace.
We just had the crossbows-cost-a-lot conversation which ended as expected, and so once again Christmas is barreling down the tracks at me and I'm left with the jewelry counter at Target or yet more pajamas. Or the ever-popular "That thing you just bought? It's your Christmas present!"
The fiberglass bats that I stuffed into the dishwasher-gaps were taken from my basement where I removed them and applied ~$400 of spray foam in an effort to block nature from inviting itself in.
We are both still sore about spending $530 to replace two key fobs for my G37. What a rip. However, since she just threw her iPhone in the trash yesterday, she can no longer complain to me about presumably doing the same with my keys.
I'm putting off getting new brakes, but I really should just go ahead and do it. Especially since I found a non-dealer Infiniti specialty shop that is relatively close.
I'm going to see what sort of pistol-grip crossbows are available anyway.

My public school teachers told me that I was smart, so why did I just rub my eye after handling fiberglass?

Well, he didn't exactly ask his wife when he bought. He's got a similar set-up to me in that their household budget is determined by the lowest income, in case a job is lost. Then an allowance is given to each spouse and the remainder goes in to savings. His 'allowance' is pretty damn big because his wife is working to being an RN while hers is pretty small. I'm pretty sure he never gives over a good chunk of his quarterly bonuses, too. My public school teachers told me that I was smart, so why did I just rub my eye after handling fiberglass?
You can't educate-out base instinct, only modify behaviours. Shit gets in eye.. rub eye.

The point of being smart in school was to get a high paying job and then pay other people to handle shit like fiberglass. And children. Goddamned stalled wages.

So, now we may be moving or not moving. At this point my medication tells me: I don't really care. I think the reality of being far, far away from any family has finally set in. And that fact that we're happy here and don't have to try hard. I just know that whatever we pick will end up being the wrong decision in a year or two.

Here you go the stars have aligned to meet your request: http://www.thatdailydeal.com/home.php?id=20301I think there is a coupon code for a little more off: THAT10 edit: this sort of gives me a kickstarter like idea, why doesn't someone create a combo range finder/laser site that auto guesstimates and adjusts the laser dot for the trajectory of your cheap ass 200fps $10 crossbow?

I just dropped $900 on a new ventless gas fireplace.
Coincidentally, I'm looking for one of those, and $900 dollars sounds about right. What brand and model did you go with? And any review/regrets?

.ahh yes, and that is why I have avoided flying United Airlines for the past decade or so. I was supposed to arrive in Sacto at 11 pm a) flight from BFE MI to Chicago delayed 1 hour, then bumped to 1.5 hours, I will have 15 min to make my connection b) land in Chicago, spend ~50min + on tarmac waiting to get off plane (might have been able to make it if they had let use exit the plane) c) get a new flight to Northern CA, supposed to leave Chicago at 10:24 d) this new flight is delayed e) delayed some more f) begin boarding at 11:24 g) arrive in Sacramento a bit after 2 am h) arrive at home around 3:30 am That was about 6 years of Southwest fuckups compressed into one night of United and for the nitpickers.. I have no fucking interest whatsoever in being reasonable right now

All airlines in the US suck. And if you go through O'Hare when a big weather system is coming through, it doesn't matter which airline you use, you will have a sub-par experience.

Concur. I still say United sucks, they can screw up connections in good weather in Chicago though.

I don't mind Southwest. They typically suck less than most of my trips on other airlines. In order of shit:
1 - Spirit (it's a flying bus) 2 - United (never ever on time to anything) 3 - Delta (never ever on time in Atlanta to shit) 4 - Airtran (getting phased out so who gives a fuck) 5 - American (I only fly there to Dallas, so who knows about other stuff) 6 - Southwest (not terrible) 7 - Frontier (I use them for Denver trips, no complaints)

Frontier may be my favorite domestic airline. They were wonderful when I flew out of Denver a lot.

Of the major US international carriers, I've always like United a bit better than the rest. Mind you, they are still fuck-terrible in terms of global comparison, but I've felt my flights with them have gone better than others. For me American is far and away the worst major US airline to fly on. My experience with Delta is very limited. I've always loved Southwest. Its a budget carrier, so go in expecting it to be more like riding a bus, but that's fine. They're cheep and have never fucked up a flight for me in terms of delays or baggage loss, over the course of about 12-15 flights. The best domestic carrier, however, is Virgin America. New planes, great interiors, good service, a really good mix of budget and luxury airline in terms of quality to pricing. Also, I guess since they are new and don't have legacy union workers, all their stewardess's are young and attractive. Frontier and JetBlue have also treated me quite well.

I will also sing the praise of Virgin. I feel like a superstar every time I get a chance to fly with them compared to any of the other domestic airlines.
