Why for the love of god why did my user make a presentation in Keynote that now wants it to work on a Pc? Just shoot me now. PPT, Quicktime, html nothing works.

Because mac users are fucking idiots about compatability concerns in business.

You could quite easily have them export it in a power point file format.

Sorry that is what PPT is. Powerpoint corrupts the format due to how its built. This stupid thing is 2 gig in size.

I've never had any trouble doing this and I do it all the time with my presentations.   It's quite possible that they fucked it up somehow.

Broke my foot yesterday. Having a sense of humour failure this morning. That is all.  Ohhhhh, I see.

Ouch, that sucks.  Now that you are a certified personal trainer of a very high level, I keep having visions of you standing on a Bosu Ball, demonstrating one-armed standing military dumbbell presses to a group of overweight seniors, only to have your tibia shatter as you ever so slightly lose balance.  Please tell me you were doing something more manly.

Ha - that's closer to the truth than you might think but no Bosu Balls involved. I was with a PT client and was demonstrating a move but it was very simple and basic: running on spot with high knees. My leg came down and hit the floor with a very audible crack like snapping wood.

After that I told her just to do the high knee lifts without the running bit.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

I've always said that running in place will get you nowhere.

Seriously, though, you are going to have to come up with another story to tell people.  Maybe you were doing lunges with 500 lbs on your back, for example.  Or perhaps you were demonstrating how to side-kick through a brick wall.

Almost reddited the above aspoiled image, but I'm sure someone I vaguely know through the intertubes will for me. I'd spend more time here, or posting, if I could sit at the gaming/desk rig. Wish laptop was higher end to do fun, creative or time comsuming stuff to keep from aching (**seeing stars wincing unable to move), +worrying, going insane and waiting for some kind of treatment...

When I went to the neurologist to get my foot checked out, he said the most common way he used to see that particular sort of palsy was college students who'd spent too much time in the stacks digging through books on the lower shelves.  Not so much any more in the Internet age.

Soooo.  I have this bestest friend who I grew up with.  We were in elementary school together, our families arranged for summer visits through junior high and high school, and then we lost touch after several moves and introduction to real life.

Well, I had this bestest friend.  He apparently died 8 years ago and forgot to mention it to me.  So there's that.

I think we need to redefine bestest friend here.

I'm a terrible friend. I have a hard time keeping up with anyone in real life. I just found out that my art professor from college who I considered a mentor but hadn't spoken to since shortly after graduation died like 4 months ago and I didn't know it because I don't check Facebook.

Sorry to everyone who has lost loved ones but I know how it is, too.  There are people out there that I haven't seen in DECADES and I'd be heartbroken to find out they died or something horrible happened to them.  Some of them I just simply don't know how to find.  I was very transient when I was younger... somewhat  less so in recent years.  I  recently found the girl who was my best friend from third grade until I started running amok at 14. Actually she found me.  She's just as bad as I am plus she doesn't play well with most other people.  Still, she's there and it's nice knowing she's around even if we hardly ever speak.  When we do, though, it doesn't feel like years have slipped by.

Drive out to the green sand beach and let me know how it goes.  I'd be fine (I assume) walking the 2.5 miles there and 2.5 miles back, but we will be on a somewhat tight schedule.  Word is that some local will drive you out in his pickup for $15.  Return trip might be included.

I know it's worth it to see one of the beaches of olivine sand, especially when the other one is in the Galapagos.  I don't want to have my rental car stuck in a rut 60+ miles from civilization.  Internet says some guy(s) drive it in a pickup but I also don't want to lose any more money since Hawaii is fucking expensive.
