So, that meeting went as expected, I suppose.

A whole lot of people at a table that all found unique ways to be completely wrong for five hours, and a titanic new project on my plate.

That doesn't happen, Engels.  I only get tiny piercings and they would be little round studs, not rings like with that guy.  I don't get gunk in my piercings and none of them have ever been infected!
Ah, definitely not then.  Snakebites don't work with studs, only rings.  Probably for the best though.

I wanted snakebites but I don't think they'd go with what I have already so I decided (just today) that balls or small spikes would be better.  I think I prefer the tiny eyebrow barbells right now anyway.  Or maybe two very thin rings on one side of the bottom lip.  I've become obsessed.  I'll probably eventually break my face.  I don't care.

Oh, and shuddup, WAP.  You're a pervy grumpasauras!  I don't know why I like you!  Probably something to do with Shadowbane.

The Utah Court of Appeals just decided the case of Assmann v. Driver's Licence Division  Made me giggle, particularly because the court website misspelled the plaintiff as "Assman".

I'm going to have a five day weekend at the start of May, and am going to train hope to some cities.  Tell me which two of these cities I should visit:  Prague, Vienna, Budapest.

I'd like to hit all three, but time constraints seem to make that unwise.
Avoid Budapest, here be dragons.  why so serious?

Seriously though, Prague is a no-brainer. Of the other two, Vienna is a lot more Western European in everything, including prices. I'm pretty sure we have some f13ers in Vienna too!
I've heard Budapest is really nice though, with a lot of neat stuff to see.  Any reason why you're recommending against it?

As it is, I do think it will be a Vienna/Prague trip.  I can overnight train to Vienna after work, then Prague is on the way'ish back towards Warsaw, so will make it easier to get home at a decent time Sunday night.

I'd like someone to make a Schoolhouse Rock song about escalations to superiors.

I live in Budapest, is that reason enough?  why so serious?

Seriously though, Hungary is... not in a very good place right now. If I had to choose between Budapest and Vienna/Prague, I'd choose the other two first. You're right that there's a lot of neat stuff to see here, though! If you were making the trip during the first week of Aug, I'd definitely vote for Budapest (Sziget, yo)

I understand we have some Austinites here, and figured this is old news by now but looks like Google Fiber may be coming to Austin soon.

My google contacts have nothing to do with that stuff, unfortunately.

Managed to screw up my lower back this morning. Went from feeling just fine to screaming pain.

Not sure how I managed to get from the car to the house, but had to get my wife to come home from work and take me to the doctor for sweet, sweet muscle relaxers.  Stupid back stayed locked up for almost an hour.

Thankfully just soft tissue stuff. (I injured those muscles when I was much younger and I've never really gotten them back to shape). I do this about twice a year, although this is the worst it's been since I injured them originally.

I think I'll actually do those darn exercises for my lower back now...at least when I'm back to most of my range of movement.

Yah, I saw that the other day.  I was laughing so hard that my wife was asking if I was OK.

Snapping a picture every time your kid cries is a bit of a dick move, however.   I'm not sure I could do it.   They do cry for the dumbest fucking reasons even as they get to the point where they can express themselves rather well.
