EVEGeek- loads of web based tools for calculating stuff like stacking penalties or mineral yields.  Also has a very nice mineral price index tracking the average price of transactions in a few regions so you can tell at a glance if you're being horribly ripped off or making a good deal.    |

I started with nothing, and I still have most of it
I'm not a complete idiot... Some parts are still on backorder.

EVE-griefer Forumshttp://www.eve-griefer.com/forums/ PvP, pirating, tactics/strategy and fitting advices that's kept below EVE-O forum-warrior radar, hosted by the Malka Badia. IMO its one of the best places to find advice on combat and etc without getting flamed and called n00b by every single post like on the EVE-Online official forums. Most of the eve-griefer regulars are pirate-types, but they'll help anyone out. |

Battleclinic.com - requires registration to use the better tools.  Have a number of nice things, but by far the best is the building simulator.  Just enter your building skills, the ME of the bpo, and the min prices and it'll tell you how much it costs to build and even how much profit you'll make off a certain price.  Great for comparing ME differences - the cost difference between that ME14 and ME24 Battleship BPO might not be nearly as big as you think    Eve-agents.com - just got a plug on the official boards, looks very ncie for mission runners. |

Web site with hard data on all the faction ships: http://www.redsector.org.uk/eve/ Some hard-to-track-down info on there.  Ashimmu looks like a lovely pirate ship but I hear there are powergrid issues... |

Eve Territorial Maps:The Joshua Map .  A "political" map changed according to the requests of diplomats, sometimes criticized because the maintainer is a BoB space resident, and because smaller and subordinate powers have no representation (often by treaty). The Paladin Vent "Influence" Map .  Generated via an algorithm from the in-game sovereignty data, tends to show more accurately who *actually* occupies an area. --Dave |

http://hammer-eve.blogspot.com/2007/05/eve-for-wow-gamers.htmlI can't even begin to describe how thorough and complete this guide is. It's well-written, has plenty of (valid!) links to outside resources, and covers every conceivable aspect of starting out in Eve Online that might be unclear to a new or prospective player. |

Can someone who hasn't been gone for a year (like me) compile a new list of Links. I'll go ahead and update the first list above, but wouldn't even want to try to do that until I've had a chance to look at these 2008 links |

Is QuickFit still the best fitter out there? If so I'll update the link with this one . Otherwise I'll replace. |

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.-William Gibson
